Today's the day!!!

So today’s the day!! My admission time is 7am so I’m currently sitting in the reception at MYA Fitzroy!

I’m so nervous right now!! But excited too. I think my mum is worse than me she’s nearly in tears haha!

Be interesting to see how long your there waiting before you get called in … mine is on Saturday and it’s 9.30am but worried as my partner is coming with our 1year old and not sure how long they are allowed there till get called in etc….and how long the wait is

Good luck! No need to worry about anything, the nurses are amazing there! Just be patient.
I was in at 7am, op at 11ish and didn’t leave till 9pm so don’t expect to be in and out xxx

I went to surgery at 9:30 am and came back to my room at 11:30. I feel much better then I thought expected!!
The drains getting taken out actually did not hurt a single bit (don’t know if I just have a good pain threshold or not).

Pains worse now since I left the hospital but I feel like that’s the strapping more than anything.

@witwoolou I was admitted at 8am in the end where the nurse did the checks i.e. Pregnancy test, weight, blood pressure, oxygen and temperature and you get changed into the lovely gown and knickers. So waited an hour in reception before my name got called.
Also I am a day case

I’m now sitting in my hotel room, have managed to actually eat something too.

@hollsssavery thank you Hollie! You’re right the nurses were brilliant at the hospital! pains a lot worse now I’m back at the hotel- guessing the pain killers have worn off. Much can take pain killers after the op on the same day right? Xxx

Yeah course, if you’re feeling the pain and uncomfortable take a couple more tablets babe, I did before I went to bed and they knocked me right out xx

I had mine done Yesterday as well.

Right now very swollen…from the anticipated D cup, I man currently in an E cup bra.

I think I need more pain tabs as it’s keeping me awake.
