Tubular breast correction

Hi,

I had surgery two weeks ago with mr mahdi.

i originally had tubular breast deformity. I had surgery 8 years ago as I desperately wanted the issue fixed but unfortunately the deformity wasn’t fixed and only had straight forward BA.

I’ve gone from 34AA pre-op to 340cc HP to 450cc HP and had a “modified mastopexy” (basically just an areola reduction)

my stats are 5ft 8 11st 4 size 12

hey girl. so glad i found your post. i have the same tubular boobs and they look very similar to yours! Its so nice to see an amazing result, if mine look anything like yours I’ll be chuffed. I am having a BA and Mastopexy in July x

@emilyhughes thanks lovely, i went with mr mahdi. mine was my second BA (the first they didn’t fix the tubular at all) so it was a bit more complicated. i went with mr mahdi and there are some slight things that i’m not 100% on but considering my case i think i have a good result and would reccommend him. i’ve seen quite a bit of his work on here and think he’s the best at more complex surgeries than a lot of the other popular surgeons at MYA x

I’m just about to book my consultation with Gary Traynor, my problem looks similar to yours although I have the biggest fear it’s not going to be fixed too.. it’s the only thing putting me off the surgery if the results aren’t how I’m imagining and with a normal BA it just means the tubular problem will only be enhanced ???? did you have yours done with MYA originally? Did you get round or teardrop? Under’s/overs etc?

@amygrundy hey! i went with transform originally, i was 18 and desperate to fix it so rushed into surgery. yeah that’s the problem i had when i just had straight forward BA- they were just bigger versions of tubular breasts, although the roundess of the implant did improve the shape slightly, but to truly fix tubular breast you need to reduce the areola (if they’re enlarged) and lower the crease (as it sits high under the areola in tubular breasts). I had a consultation with mr traynor as i love his work but he didn’t really mention how he would work on the tubularness, although with yours being your first surgery it might be more straight forward than mine as it was a reaug too. i went with mr mahdi as he does a lot of reconstructions, lifts and tubular breasts. i’d have a consultation with traynor and mahdi to see how you feel with them and what they say they’d do. good luck! and let me know how you get on with them x

OK perfect thank you! Ill have the consultation and see what he says.. i dont think my areolas need work but he knows more than me! I would just much rather not have surgery atall than just enhance the problem although i understand you will never 100% know til its done… xx
