I had my surgery done with Dr Max Marcelino on the 3rd October 2016. I can’t fault MYA at all, everyone has been fantastic!! The before and aftercare is brilliant and I couldnt be happier with my results. I have posted a picture of my before and after pictures at just 6weeks.

Thank you. I’m very happy with my results, if I was too say anything bad about him, it would be that he isn’t very talkative and does at times seem very rushed to move on. But I would defiantly recommend him.

Would be good to know what you choose to do. Good luck with your consultation.

Hi I don’t think we’re aloud to discuss pricing on here, sorry. Pricing would be different for everyone depending on what you need/have done.

Recovery is great. My sides are still very sore when knocked or turning in bed, they did say recovery from lipo is the longest. How are you finding it?

I had my surgery done with Max marcellino at the Fitzroy square in London. It’s the best decision I have ever made. I had a two night stay as advised by the surgeon. I would say this is a must to rest fully and be treated with pain meds etc, nurses are great too.

I’m booked in for my tummy tuck in just over 3 weeks time it really can’t come quick enough. Did you have drains put in? mr Marcelino is my surgeon aswel also will I notice a difference straight away or will it take weeks to see a difference hope you didn’t mind me messaging you look great by the way xx

Of course I don’t mind. It really depends on your shape now to if you will see a difference straight away. I saw a difference immidately but I didn’t see the full difference until at least 6weeks post op when swelling really starts to fade. I’m currently nearly 4 months post op and still get swelling. Some days it looks tight and flat and others it’s as if I’m pregnant again lol. Swelling is horrendous during your period. I still wear my compression garments every now and then to try and control swelling dependent on how active I’ve been during the day. If I was to advise one thing, it would be to ensure you wax your bikini line and don’t shave. I shaved and because of all the dressings I got in growing hairs which really hurt. Take at least 4weeks off work! It pretty much a must!

Yeah I had drains, it’s two tubes in the pubic mound which are uncomfortable, again because of the dressings on your hair. If I was to do it again, I would have waxed it all off lol, wish someone had told me! The drains don’t hurt when they come out, it’s just a little pressure and a tug and over in seconds.

You look fantastic. My recovery has been fantastic with no pain from the tummy tuck whatsoever and he did sew my muscle wall up but I didn’t need Lipo. It was my boobs that gave me pain which I thought would be the other way around lol. The garments are horrendous and so uncomfortable they have drove me mad! Fitzroy was fantastic and such lovely nurses they really where fantastic. I only stayed 1 night. I think I’m still quite swollen but I’m getting there and the dresssings come off my stomach next Wed woohoo. X

Iv always wanted one since having my 2nd child, my stomach has never been the same. Only thing worries me is the scarring. How low down is the scar ? Can u notice it when u are wearing a bikini ? Xxx

My scar is very neat one long curved line to suit my body shape and is already fading loads you can’t see mine at all under my underwear. My belly button also doesn’t look fake.

Hello Jemma. Firstly,I think your tummy tuck photos look amazing and thanks for sharing your experience on MySpace. I am fairly new on this blog this being my initial message on this site. I would like to know a little bit more about how the pain was for you, what you thought of Mr Marcellino your surgeon and how much it costs you. Many thanks Jemma. x

Hi Natasha, thank you very much.

I would 110% say go for it! It’s changed my life so much but there’s always that devil on your shoulder either wanting more or looking for perfection. Whilst I think my tummy it a 100%better I still want more/better, guess that’s the mindset I need to focus on as surgery doesn’t fix that.

Pain was bearable. It really isn’t as bad as the you tube bloggers say lol. I came off all pain meds on day 3/4 it’s mainly discomfort as your tummy is so numb. The garments make it incredibly difficult to do anything and mine was so tight it’s scared my sides, not sure if you spotted it from the pictures? I was also allergic to the dressings so this caused lotsa of red marks and itching but all appears to be fading now.

Hi I’m now 12 days post op and feeling fab Iv had no pain what so ever and Haven’t had to take any pain meds which I am also shocked about. I did have a few bad days in the beginning where I regretted it due to my corset being to small for me but swelling is slowly going down ???? Really can’t wait to see the results next week as every week I see a massive improvement. Currently I have itching most nights and it’s driving me mad it comes and goes but google has said this is a good sign. Can’t wait to be able to buy some sexy underwear and not have to cover up

Jemma you must be thrilled with your results!
I’m really nervous as I have my standard abdo on Friday with Dr Marcelino at Fitzroy I’m having it with 2 hrs of vaser on my flanks & tummy plus a BA – worried about the pain tbh!
Your results looks fab, I’ll be happy if mine are as good! My skin is quite taught so not sure how low he can get my scar though tbh I just want this stomach gone as it causing me lots of probs after my 3rd c-section was a “very rushed job” to say the least! Hopefully mine will go well!
How was your pain & swelling? I’m worried I will balloon & gain back loads of weight from not being able to continue to work out! Do you think I’ll get really swelled? Did you get really swelled up? I’m expecting some but does that make you gain weight? X

    Hi!

Yes I had a lot of swelling and still get slight swelling now 6months on. The swelling is still bad when due on.

The pain is fine, it’s more uncomfortable. I was able to come off all pain meds after 4days.

I am thrilled with the work, still some areas which need a little rework, like where my previously belly button piercing was left in. But he has done a grand job. I didn’t gain any weight it’s only 4weeks and then you get to exercise again slowly. Just listen to your body and don’t over do it, you will recover a lot quicker. Your having a lot of work done! Is this all at the same time? He told me he wouldn’t do a TT and BA at the same time for me.

    Hi Jemma

Thank you for your message. I’ve had all my 3 procedures done in one hit, so full tummy tuck, vaser to flanks & slight top of tummy plus my BA. I went down at 4.10 Friday afternoon & didn’t come back to my room until 10pm, so hubby very worried!
I’ve been crazy sick, they literally gave me everything they could lay their hands on & still I couldn’t stop vomiting! That’s stopped now, Thank god, though was hell for the first 3 days! Yesterday was my first sick free day. I literally feel like I’ve fallen down a lift shaft, still in lots of pain mainly from my tummy plus my back is killing me!
I’ve not seen much of my body, so I don’t really know what I look like. I was lucky because Mr Marcelino did my drains & whilst it hurt he was so kind to me, after all I’d been through. My hubby says I look much smaller than before as he was standing behind Mr Marcelino as my drains came out so he got to see my results, me being a baby I just had my eyes shut with my hands over my face!
I see Mr Marcelino tomorrow, I’ll take a look then! If my results are as good as yours I’ll be thrilled! You look amazing! You must be made of steel to be off your meds on day 4!!!! Daisy X

Wow that sounds horrid! I had sickness too, think it’s just how some people react to the surgery. Being sick hurts so much so glad that’s stopped! Just try not to sneeze, cough or laugh now lol, that’s just as bad.
Hope your planning on sharing pictures?

I’m sure your results will be fab! His a total miracle worker.

    Happy healing. Keep in touch!

Hi Jemma- you look great! I am 3 weeks post op from a tummy tuck and BA with MM. I’ve only just gathered the courage to look at my scar but I’m a bit worried about how bumpy it is and puckered in some areas. Did you experience this and does it go away (or at least get better) with time? Thanks in advance! Rachel x
