    Hi guys,

After meeting my PC she advised I would need an uplift and implants to get the best results. After researching and looking at several forums I am really worried about the scarring as I am only 20! I’m not happy with the position of my nipples ATM and after losing 3 stone my boobs are empty, I have been told that I have tuberous breasts but was wondering if anyone has been advised to have uplift but went with just the BA?! I am meeting dr Marcellino on Tuesday so hopefully he can advise but if possible I would like to avoid the uplift. Here’s a photo attached of my boobs( I hate my nipples so I have covered them)

Hi Chloe, how did your appointment go? I’m in the same position. I don’t want an uplift but I’m empty due to breastfeeding and weight loss. I’m currently doing research on what to get and who to go with. I know me trayner tends to give you just ba if that’s what you as for. They say you can get away with it but you will need to get a slightly bigger implant and you may sag later in life so may need one now. But yes your only young so of course you don’t want the scars xxx

Hi Chloe, I’ve just had the same news after meeting mr Marcelino, my breasts are almost identical to yours. It’s a big decision you have to make, I’ve personally decided to cancel my surgery date for the minute as I’m only 23 and I want to have kids and breastfeed in the future. I’m absolutely gutted but mr Marcelino advised that the breast enlargement results would last 2 years and then I would most likely be back for an uplift so it just didn’t seem worth it to me. I am still mulling it all over at the moment. But best to just do lots of research, see a few surgeons and then decide what’s best for you xx

Hiya Chloe, I was the same as you but tuberous in one breast and didn’t want an uplift due to the scarring and the additional cost, but now I’m 3 weeks post op and so glad i went ahead and had an uplift too, my scars are nearly nothing! Its worth it for the best results possible xx

Hi chloe, I am 7 days post op today? And I couldn’t be happier with my results, I am very similar to you, I’ve also lost just over 3 stone and your boobs look exactly like mine did, my left was bigger then the right so I was advised an uplift on the left and ba and just a ba on my right, I had 325cc in my left and 350cc in my right, I’m 5’7 and 10St 9lb so the size is perfect for my build and frame, so my advice to you is trust the surgeons they know best and wouldn’t advise something that isn’t best for your shape and size! ???? I had Dr trainer, saw my stitches for the first time today with the nurse and he has done such a good job I didn’t need the steri strips on anymore and that’s just 1 week post op! I’m so happy with my results! Scars are gonna be none existent in time tbf as my incisions are literally about 3 inches long and so neat!
Goof luck whatever decision you make ???? xxx

gonna copy and paste something i wrote on one of the other forums in the hope that it helps ya xx

“First of all, I am only 23 too! Currently 8 days post-op with an augmentation and uplift… now I’m going to tell you my story and point of view in the hope it makes you feel better and think about it more thoroughly…

My boobs are probably saggeir than yours haha but the story is the same. I went for two different consultations. I hoped to have a straight forward BA (mostly due to the obvious decrease in price!) in fact this is what I wanted, so much so that I went to another surgeon. Both of them told me that I’d be wasting my money, ultimately, by having just a BA, and that I wouldn’t achieve the perky boobs that I want. I remember being soooo upset with the first surgeon, like almost livid he would say that.. looking back now I don’t know how I thought I could JUST have a BA, like literally feel like such an idiot haha, because I’d have been sooo unhappy because with the implant weight they will literally just drop and sag, hun! Telling me I needed an uplift for longer results was the best thing they every did for me. Yes I had to pay 6K+ instead of 3K+, yes I had a longer recovery and more scars, but my results are much nicer and will be longer lasting in the end 🙂 So I guess what I’m saying is, these guys have been in the game for years, and they know what’s best, they also don’t want you to be disappointed with your results. Obvs I ain’t seen your before-boobs before, but if you have a BA and you already suspect now that you may need an uplift, then those implants will sag your breasts majorly and you won’t be happy at all 🙂 Spending double for a surgery is better than wasting your money completely on the first one, against the Dr’s advice xxx

also just to add, watch lots of videos on YouTube, I think I watched almost every video I could find on an uplift and BA lol, and honestly those scars fade fast! Like Fran has said the ones around the nipple/seemingly visible ones heal MUCH faster and look better than the one on the crease!! Just want you to make the best decisions that’s right for you, so that in the end you don’t have regrets <3 xxx
Yeah hun it takes a while to come round to the idea, took me a while too, but looking back like I said so glad I did and saw sense xxx and thank you <3 good luck 🙂 xxx”

Hi Chloe, I had a breast augmentation when I was advised to have an uplift and 100% regretted it. I am now booked in for an uplift on 8 August. A couple of my friends have had uplifts and the scars aren’t so bad which is what convinced me..

    good luck xd

Hiya honey, I had my uplift and implants yesterday. Mine were similar to yours but I had asymmetrical breasts (one smaller than the other) could not be happier with my results already. I went with Mr Mounir at Preston due to seeing some of his work and honestly he is amazing!

    Hi ladies,
I had uplift and implants 350cc and 325cc, I’m 5ft4 a d around 9st. I had no breast tissue due to weight loss and having babies.
Still healing on my right breast due to stitches playing up but getting there.
My left breast the scars are barley visible.
This pic is about 6 weeks post op.

I love them feel so much more confident, my right breast is almost healed, had a few issues with stitches. I’m around a 34E 12 weeks post op. Recovery time definitely isn’t 6 weeks though. X

    Hi San
