    Hiya girls,

I was wondering when your boobs start to get softer and squishy, I still have a lot of healing to do just wondering when I can expect to start feeling normal again? And do you ever get used to them feeling different haha:)?

Also I have a breast band and told it has to be worn for 4 weeks.. Was anyone allowed to take it off earlier… I’m fed up of wearing jumpers to cover it… Not to mention the dodgey look I got the other day when I went to the theatre and they were searching bags… She looked at my chest then looked at me very suspiciously haha!! Xx

Hi Georgina, how was your surgery ? Can’t help with the band as I haven’t had my surgery yet. Booked in on 7th March. Where did you have your surgery and which surgeon ? Hope you don’t mind me asking but what size implants did you go for and what size do you hope to be ? I’m back to see surgeon in a week and worried he will only give me a small implant. Thanks x

    Hi Becki,

No Probs ask away. I had surgery in the London clinic and my surgeon was dr Linda Fiumara. I had 250/275cc, I used to be a 32 e/f then lost loads of weight after an illness, even after putting it back on to be a healthy weight I was a very empty d/DD was just all saggy skin. Linda doesn’t like to go big anyway, but most surgeons won’t go over 300cc with an uplift anyway, have seen a few around the 300-350 with an uplift. I did push for 300cc but she was just like I just don’t want you to sag again quickly and you be unhappy, tbh she was so professional and seemed so good at what she does I trusted her opinion. Everyone goes on about how she’s a perfectionist and you can tell. So I went with that. She never gave me an expected size to be but they don’t like to anyway. I still have swelling so I’m not really sure how they’ll look or what size they’ll be… Really can’t wait till 6-8 weeks mark haha. Here’s how they look atm without breast band xxx

Thanks Georgina, they look great. I hope mine turn out like that ?. I’m at Leeds clinic and having the surgery at Preston with dr Mounir. Really can’t wait now, wanted this for ages. I’m an empty b/c at the minute and have to wear really padded bras to even my shape out. I wanted just the implant to make them bigger but was told I told I needed an uplift too so now worried they not going to be big enough xx

Hi girls. I’m new to here. I’m booked in for uplift and implant and I’m meeting dr Mounir weds. Not sure if I will need implant or not, but I’m an empty d/dd so think I might but don’t want massive boobs!
Can I ask about the pain and your recovery. I’m scared! Your boobs look great by the way. Happy healing xx

Yeah I was the same Becki they’d look great in a overly padded push up bra but I wanted more than that:( if I’m honest I knew myself for a long time I’d need an uplift so I had a long time to think about it but it’s abit of a shock being told I would have thought. Ask your surgeon can they give you a kinda size range you would be looking at and weight rice out into implant sizes so u can wear them for abit in different clothes. I think the only thing that helped me was that I really trusted my surgeon, I’m still not sure if they’ll be big enough but I also didn’t want to go massive well have to see how they go.

Hiya sammy, I was an empty d/DD and I kinda wanna say now I’ll be a full DD/e but don’t wanna get something in my head. I’ve been wearing and e sports bra and have today put on a DD now the swelling had gone down. Not much in actual size difference just massiv change in how they look. If I’m honed the first few days were awful, I’m just annoyed everyone said it doesn’t hurt cause it does lol. If I was expecting that much pain it would of been easier, by day 6 though I had barely no pain just aches etc xxx

    Hi Georgina,
They start to soften after a few weeks, I remember walking down my stairs feeling like they were going to drop off so i had to hold them all the time. I think after around 4 weeks i realised that feeling had gone away, i’m 8 weeks PO and i feel like they are really natural now and they’ve dropped. I didn’t wear a breast band but i had strapping i guess everyone is different. I’ve had a few minor bumps along the road to recovery so not in a bra yet but everything is absolutely fine. You’ll get there it goes so fast! They look amazing though! x

Hi ladies, I’m new to this. Got my surgeon consultation on 1st March. I’m not sure whether he’s going to reccomend an uplift aswell as a implant. Does anyone know the cost of the uplift aswell as the implant? I know the implant alone is £4995 but wasn’t sure whether it would be classed as 2 different procedures? Thanks xx

Hiya Charlotte! Your not supposed to talk about prices on here so they may edit your reply, but yeah they do kinda cost it as two separate procedures and you should expect abit of a price rise from the 4995. If you have it at the same time (if you have a smaller implant) you may be able to get a discount. But if you have it separate ( if you are recommended a bigger implant) I think it maybe more. Not sure tho everyone seems to get told different price wise xx

    Menu

Oh really, I’ve never heard that before. They told me that the £4995 was a set price for implants ? That’s strange. Never heard of not being able to discuss prices either, oh well they can edit my post if needed lol thanks for your reply xx

It’s not really set, loads of people get it down by a lot and then others don’t. I think it really depends on loads of factors. Think it says it in the ‘terms and conditions’ about not discussing prices on here but I only noticed from seeing it on other posts. I would always try in getting a discount, no harm in asking:) xx

Hi Nashie, I ordered one the other day, should be here soon. I thought they were expensive but when I sat thinking about it, it’s nothing compared to what I’ve paid for the surgery and that’s gonna create enough pain so I want to be comfortable. A lot of people rave about them on here. When did you have your surgery ? X

Hi Ladies, I already have fairly full breasts, but they are sagging, I’m looking to get an uplift, but it seems like most get an implant too. Im not really looking to go any bigger, but want to keep a nice shape?

My Macom just casued me pain, it’s so itchy and digs in so I don’t like them lol. I don’t think I’ll be much bigger(bra size) than I oringinally was with a 250/275 implant just fuller and obviously a lot different looking without a bra lol xx

Hi, when I met with dr Mounir he said I was a d cup but there is no way I could wear a d cup with my boobs. I push it with a C at the minute and that’s only because there is so much padding ha ha. I’m have 350cc implants so really hoping that takes me to a DD x

Hi Georgina, I’m three weeks post op, and I still have two small dressings on. I have to go to London Fitzroy to see the nurse twice a week so they can change the dressing, how often do you have to go?

I had full dressings on until week 4… Had then off for all of a few days lol! Then small ones put back on. Was going weekly, then been every few days as she put iodine on and they don’t like to leave it on that long I don’t think. Back on Saturday, to see surgeon and nurse I think, will be 6 weeks Monday xx

Hiya Kay! I’m not an excercise person I’m quite lazy lol! But I’m getting abit of belly and deffo have put weight on since having the op as haven’t been as active, so hoping to start up once I’m back to myself. Saw my suregon and she said my rate of healing has been slower but she’s not worried about it as my body is generally pretty crap at healing and immune system stuff. Yeah my nipples are different but still changing everyday. At 4 weeks they were completely different but now they look so much better. 6 weeks
Tomorrow and another nurse appointment to hopefully get my dressings off Tuesday so message me for pics of nips if u want them then lol! Linda told me to go out and buy this gel for my scars… Had a shock it was £30 lol! Hope it bloody works! Tryed some of my old bras on last night haha…doesn’t fit!

    Georgina 16

I never had any drains put in, I’ve only had to have my stitches cut down slightly to help them dissolve. My surgeon said u my see some coming to the surface of the skin up to 3-5 months after the op as your body try’s to push them out if they don’t dissolve xx

I had drains out in, the nurse takes them out the morning after surgery, whilst you are awake , and it is really painful, for two days I felt quite sore from where the drains had been inserted.
