Very concerned about my stitches! Advice

Hello everyone, I haven’t posted in a while.
I am nearly three weeks post op (will be on Monday) and on Thursday 29th a few days ago, I got my stitches taken out. The nurse didn’t say anything about my stitches or anything so I thought all was good.

I have just really looked at the scars underneath my breasts in the mirror and I am really worried about how they look. They are VERY bumpy and look all over the place!!

I have never seen anyone upload photos of their scars and it looking like this. I have seen people’s look better after one week post op!

Hi Hun it’s just scar tissue forming on the incisions it’s all still healing my nurse told me can take up to three months for scars to heal and look flat she advised me to put surgical tape over mine to help flatten them I wouldn’t worry too much Hun they will heal and look loads bettter xxx

Hi I’ve got one really neat scar and one like a raised caterpillar! I can’t wait until it’s 6 weeks and I can get some scar gel on there! They will settle down in time x

Ah thank you girls, I was panicking a lot about them as I have never seen anyone really post about them looking like this. I thought it would heal like this being all bumpy! But hopefully it improves over time. Just had a bit of a panic haha x
