Vomiting

Hey girls had my op yesterday n I can’t keep anything down today do you think it’s the painkillers and anicetic ? Xx

Yeah i was the same for about 2 or 3 days po

I know IM still in bed 6 days po cause this strapping js so tight and every time i get out of bed in out of breathe!! Cant wait for Tuesday to get rid of the strapping

it’s likely to be a mix of the tablets and anesthetic still in your body, drink plenty of fluids as it pushes the anesthetic out of your body quicker. In regards to painkillers are you on codeine? if so, have you had it before? I’ve been sick off it numerous times which i knew before my op so they were able to prescribe me with codryamol instead 🙂 xx

I’m day three post op and today’s the first day I’ve been sick.. I’ve stopped the co-codamol and I’m making sure I eat plenty with my antibiotics xx

I was the same from 2 hours after surgery until day 4 xx hope you feel better soon x

Drinking plenty of water and eating and taking pills as directed and on a full stomach will reduce or stop urge from vomiting the more your don’t eat the more you will feel sick. Happy healing bless x
