Since being 6 weeks post op I’ve been using Kelo-Cote advanced formula scar gel and it’s absolutely amazing! (I’m currently 14wks post op). It was recommended to me by one of the other girls on this forum and I have seen several other girls on here comment about it too.
It’s a transparent, self-drying silicone gel which improves the appearance of scars and prevents abnormal or excessive scar formation such as keloids. I’ve really noticed that since using it it’s really smoothed and flattened my scars. They don’t have that raised feel to them anymore.
You apply a very small amount of the clear, odourless gel morning and night and although the gel is quite expensive it’s definitely worth it because a little goes a long way. I’m still on my first tube now!
One thing I’d say is apply it before you start getting ready as it takes a few minutes to dry. Once dry you can apply anything over the top of it such as sunscreen.
If anyone would like to try it I have a referral code that will get you 30% off your first order. Please find the link below xxx

Your scars look amazing. Did yours stay dark for long? I’m 10 weeks post op and mine are really dark, when do they lighten??

@tealxxo they can take anything up to a year to really fade so I wouldn’t worry too much. Everyone’s fade at different rates and at 10wks post op I would say is still relatively early. I’m only 14wks post op and I still think mine have a lot of improvement to go through. The best advice I can give is to keep on top of the scar creams/gels to give yourself the best chance of appearance of your scars
    🙂 xx

Scarnox twice a day for 2-3 months. Recommended by my plastic surgeon and I’ve seen its results before on my Friend’s scars “nonexistent”

@georginaa-2 You’re welcome 🙂 I started using the gel as soon as I got to 6 weeks post op. My surgeon advised me not to use anything on my scars until then, when they’re fully healed and closed up xx
