Quick one ladies, how’s the recovery with overs. I’m getting surgery in September and plan to have overs still not 100% sure on cc’s yet but looks like 325 or 350cc.

I’m only taking 9 days off from work and live in London. So need to drive to work as going on the train is a no no and I won’t be able to hold on the bars whilst it’s jerking about. Just wanna know how was the healing process and was you able to drive quickly afterwards? Xx

Hey hun I can’t speak for everyone as everyone is different but I honestly has zero pain and was driving at 6 days post op I did take my time like back to feeding the steering wheel there was no over stretching using one hand even though I felt like I could of I didn’t wanna push it as it first few days just rest as much as you can that’s what I did even though I didn’t feel that bad all I seemed to do was sleep from the pain meds even though I had no pain I still them hope it all goes ok for you hun xx

Oh great, I usually drive with one hand so I should be okay then, might have to just take some paractomol Just don’t wanna over do it and end up having to take more time off from work lol.

    Thank you xx

I had overs I needed a hand with washing and brushing my hair up until day 5, but did everything else fine, I only had pain killers the day after then never took anymore, mainly because I wanted to feel if I was doing too much and wasn’t numb from pain killers, I drove by day 8, found using 5th gear a struggle for a while though, I have a very manual job and took three weeks off (probably could of done with 4 off) I think I had a fairly easy recovery with overs, but your body will tell you when your doing too much xx

Hi, I had my surgery yesterday and am in pain, I did have a reaction to the anaesthetic and kept in longer as I almost passed out twice when standing due to low blood pressure and low oxygen. struggling to get up from sitting, going to the toilet and can’t brush my hair. I’m on painkillers but don’t work well for me personally. Everyone is different, I had overs 400cc high profile and was a 34b before. I have read a lot of people say no pain etc with overs so was quite surprised how I feel. Still so glad I had them done! Nurse I gd was so lovely and my surgeon was really nice and always had tone for me. Wish you all the best x

I had overs 350cc (I was a 34c before) and I was absolutely fine from the minute I left the hospital through to now. Never had any pain it was only discomfort whilst they were heavy and swollen. Stitches have caused me the most aggravation as they’re healing and itchy. Didn’t take any painkillers after day 1 as realised I didn’t need them and was driving by day 5. Not sure if it’s because I didn’t have any of my skin stretched etc or because I had a C cup already but I read so many horror stories and I have had such a good recovery xx

Oh sorry to hear that love, fingers crossed I have a easy recovery. Sounds like a nightmare.

    Hope you feel better soon.

Sounds reassuring lol I’m a 32b so hopefully the only problem I have is the stitching.
I really don’t wanna use pain killers if possible.
