When will pain improve

I don’t like to think of myself as a wuss but I’m so jealous of those girls who don’t get pain. I don’t understand it i have had 2 sections and this pain is worse
I had my op yesterday and when sitting up in bed it’s manageable but soon as I stand up its agony. Painkillers aren’t touching it. Please someone tell me it doesn’t last too long

I was the same! It starts easing one the 4-5th day. it’s r rally not nice I know how your feel, I couldn’t stand up straight for 3 days x

Thanks Hun. Having to stay away from husband and kids because just physically can’t deal with them it’s awful ? Hopefully by time Monday comes I’ll be better x

Take your meds at regular intervals day and night and alternate them so you have constant pain relief also they take time to build up in your body xx

Only got one kind called co-dydramol. Never heard of them before but they’re crap I’ll tell u that much lol

I was given Ibuprofen and paracetamol took ibuprofen 3 time a day and paracetamol 4 times a day so took at different times Day 1 was the worst for me until meds kicked in you wouldn’t be able to take paracetamol with co-dydramol though xx

Day 2-4 were the worst for me.. Starting to feel human day 5 then day 6 I physxially couldn’t stay awake. By day 7 I really started to feel myself just no strength and discomfort.
At the time I was thinking the same like wow am I a wuss because so many people say they don’t get pain!! But I’m 17 days ( I think lol) post op and by 2 weeks I couldn’t even remember the pain anymore! My strength isn’t back and dont get me wrong my boobs still are sensitive etc but the pain becomes a distant memory! Honestly power through sleep as much as you can and let your body feel sorry for it’s self. Promise it won’t last to long xxxx

Thanks for replies girls. Feel like crying just can’t believe how bad the pain is and can’t imagine feeling normal – wish could fast forward a week

Will maybe see GP tomorrow to ask for stronger pain relief as this just isn’t working for me x
