Why can't I wear a bra?

Does anyone know why we can’t wear a normal bra for the first 6 weeks?
I’m going out tonight and need to wear a bra with this dress, you think it’ll be okay for a few hours? Xx

I think you just can’t wear wired bras as it will interfere with your incisions hun, also you need all the support for the first 6 weeks as you’re still healing x

My incisions have fully healed now though and I’m 5 weeks post op. Oooh I really want to wear a bra haha! Xx

I’m wanting a night out 5 weeks as well hoping to go bra less but would prob be silly
Should 5 weeks be ok !? X

@kellyp030184 I went out without a bra on the weekend and I felt fine. I think 6 weeks is just a guideline for people who may take longer to recover xx
