Worried – please help!

Hi girls,

So I’m coming up to 4WPO and everything has been going fine and recovery has been great. However, yesterday I noticed that one of my incisions has started to get a red mark around one corner and I’m terrified I have an infection! I’m not sure whether it’s just where the scab came off the other day and now it’s re-healing or if it’s where my sports bra might be rubbing it, HELP! I feel ridiculous calling the emergency line if it’s just where the scab has come off. My left side is healing perfectly, I’ve attached pictures below for comparison. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I call the nurse? I’ve had this red mark for two days now.

Any advice or reassurance would be great!!!

I’ve also developed a red mark and my good boob – almost looks like a love bite (which there’s no chance of me having I’m single af). I don’t know whether it’s a stretch mark or just a bruise or what but I’m starting to worry about haematoma!!! I’m stressed! You can sort of see it at the top of the picture on the right.

I’d defo get it looked at Hun just to rule out anything nasty. X

Not sure on early signs of hermatoma but if it is least your noticing somethings wrong early, ring your mya clinic or send images to your mya nurse or pc. They should allways respond quickly.
Try not to worry to much could be nothing just part of recovery, let us kno how you get on Oxx

Signs of heromatoma, Expanding size of the breast, significant brusing, progressively worse pain.
So if your painless your ok xx

Thank you! I’m completely painless just a little itchy on occasions. I’m going to give it until Monday and see whether it’s just my scab reforming and then I’ll call the emergency number. Hopefully it’s just something antibiotics can solve xx
