If it’s not on Instagram, did it even happen?
…The question we’ve all been asking ourselves since Instagram graced the world and took over our lives.
As a prolific Instagram user myself, I believe I speak for the majority when I say, that sometimes we find ourselves wondering whether it’s an appropriate time to grab the camera and start snapping or whether to just sit back and enjoy the moment.

Well MYA are here to help, we’ve pulled together a few of our favourite locations around the UK where you can nail that photo, from breathtaking rooftops, neon signs and excessive pink furnishings -we’ve got it covered, so go get that#gram!
The Hot Spots
1) Sketch, London
Probably one of the most photographed bathrooms in the world- This French style restaurant and bar, located in Mayfair, London is the home of the infamous egg toilets photographed above. Not only does it feature amazing food shaped toilets, each room explores a different colour and theme, from the stylish, pink décor and contemporary artwork in the main dining room, to the amazing floral wonderland and the secret library room tucked away on the second floor. For beautiful food and cocktails, Sketch is a must-have when visiting London.
2) Neighbourhood, Liverpool
If you fancy going OUT OUT, head to Neighbourhood for a guaranteed fun-filled night. Expect saxophone players, neon signs and designer cocktails that are worthy of the #goals. The Neighbourhood group is taking over the North with locations in Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds and is a great location to capture a photo, whilst enjoying a bite to eat in the day time, or nailing a group shot on a girls night out.
3) Issho, Leeds
Located in the newly developed Victoria Gate, Leeds, is the super cool, contemporary Japanese restaurant and rooftop bar, Issho. It’s the perfect location for foodies looking for a chilled spot to catch up with friends, start with drinks on the beautiful garden terrace and enjoy rooftop views of Leeds, then move on to the restaurant and browse their amazing food menu. Issho’s tranquil vibe is ideal for a bottomless brunch and has an impressive selection of herbal teas and sushi. (Not that we are biased, but our HQ is close to Leeds- and we love it!)
4) Swingers, London
If snapping photos of your cocktails and posing in your heels isn’t really your vibe…then head to London’s West End for a spot of crazy golf and tasty street food. Swingers is the ideal Instagram ‘hot spot’ for a day trip with friends or a cute date night with bae. Take a break from the action and stuff your face with tacos, pizza, burgers and ice cream whilst relaxing with a drink at their Clubhouse bar.
5) The Great British Cupcakery, Newcastle

To fix those sweet cravings, pay a visit to The Great British Cupcakery in Newcastle to experience what sweet dreams are made of. Picture…ice cream milkshakes, waffles, cakes and other sweet treats, beautifully decorated with dustings of chocolate and sprinkles. The Great British Cupcakery has a small cafe and is well known in Newcastle for it’s bespoke cake making services.
6) The Sky Garden, London

When visiting London, you must stop by the famous enlarged glass dome at The Sky Garden to soak up the most spectacular 360° views of the capital. Enjoy the three story landscaped botanical gardens, the open air viewing terrace and dine at the impressive restaurants on offer. Entry is free, but I would advise booking in advance – my top tip is to go at dusk and watch as the sun sets over the city.
7) Tattu, Manchester
Experience exquisite Chinese Food at this amazing location in Manchester. Relax in the beautiful surroundings amongst the blossom trees and oriental décor, whilst Tattu take you on a sensory journey. From sharing plates, to crispy pork belly, to dim sum, your taste buds are truly in for a treat! Not only is this location ‘Instagrammable’, it’s food is not to be missed.
8) Roxy Ballroom & Lanes, Leeds

Looking for something different? Evening or Night, Roxy’s has something for everyone. Beer Pong, Table Tennis, Bowling, Mini Golf and Pool is all on offer at Roxy’s Leeds, with so many activities available you can’t NOT have a good time.
9) Bob Bob Ricard, London

Nestled between the busy streets of Soho you will find this beautiful and iconic restaurant serving you Russian-inspired modern British cuisine and the all important champagne. Bob Bob Ricard is famously known for the ‘Press for Champagne’ buttons on every table, providing it’s visitors with lots of Instagram fun. Dine on the fanciest comfort food you’ve ever seen in the stunning art deco surroundings!
10) Tonight Josephine, London
For our final recommendation we have chosen THE MOST INSTAGRAMMABLE SPOT EVEEEER. Tonight Josephine is located in London and is a must-see for all lovers of the colour pink. It’s empowering neon signs and overwhelming sense of #girlpower makes this cocktail bar the sassiest in town! Get your girl gang together and plan a trip to Tonight Josephine- every corner of this bar presents a photo opportunity.
