Victoria Beckham rumoured to have had liposuction

New photographs of Spice Girl Victoria Beckham have sparked rumours that she may have had liposuction.

The Daily Mail reports that the style icon was wearing a grey pencil skirt and cropped t-shirt with a "distinct crease" showing just above the waistband.

Cosmetic surgeon Apostolos Gaitanis told the newspaper that the crease is in the wrong place to be a result of her caesareans but could be lost elasticity in her skin after losing a lot of weight in a short space of time.

"It is also possible that she has had liposuction at some point, since there is hardly any fat under the skin and you can see the muscles beneath," he said.

Ms Beckham has previously claimed there are a number of things she doesn''t like about her figure.

"I''ve got so much saggy skin on my stomach," she has claimed.

Liposuction was the fourth most popular cosmetic surgery procedure among women last year, figures from the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons show.
