Marketing Intern

Join the MYA Team as a Paid Part Time Marketing Intern

We are looking for a creative and talented intern to join us to help with some video editing and other creative projects within the Marketing Department.

As the right candidate, you will be an excellent multi-tasker, as there are always several projects underway. You must be ambitious, diligent, flexible, able to write and work independently. Video editing experience is a must other marketing experience appreciated – but most of all the desire to learn and juggle. Due to the smaller size of our team, MYA is all about cooperation; the more you wish to contribute and help out, the more you will get out of the internship.

Reporting Lines:

-        Reports to both the Head of Brand & Marketing & Senior Marketing executive.

We are looking for a hard-working individual with the following attributes:

-        Personality

o   Passionate

o   Creative

o   Self-motivated

o   Team player

o   Interest in beauty, fashion, cosmetic surgery preferred

o   Willingness to learn

-        Experience

o   Video editing

o   Creative design

o   Currently enrolled undergraduate studying design, marketing or communications (not required but preferred)

o   Data entry and computer skills a must

o   Familiarity with social media

-        Requirements

o   Willingness to drive to work independently

o   A high level of spoken and written English

o   Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Premier Pro essential

o   Ability to multi-task and take initiative.

o   Hardworking

o   Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly

Duties and Responsibilities

-        Support the marketing team

-        Assist in the creation of marketing materials predominately video

-        Lead a photography upload project via our systems

-        Provide administrative support to the marketing team
