Hi I’m at Preston on Monday morning & just received my e mail from PC with my admitence time of 11am, please could anyone share their experiences of a time frame of the day & would really appreciate any guidance on a discharge time which would help me out hugely in arranging my childcare & lift home afterwards, many thanks x

Hi my admission was 11am at Preston I went down for my op about 1:30 was awake in recover just after 3pm and discharged about 7:15pm but that was only because they were busy and a nurse needed to remove my cannula. They say that if you’ve been for a wee and ate and drank something then you can usually go 3 hours after waking up. It’s hard to put a time frame on as it depends on the other ops. There was another girl who had same admission as me but she didn’t go down until after me. It just all depends and is hard to say but that gives you a rough idea hopefully. The op only takes 30 mins xx

Hi. I’m exactly the same as you-admission time, hospital and date. Who’s your surgeon?
Hope we’re not there too late, I just want to get home as soon as possible.x
