Thanks Kat, I have my op on tuesday, I have a Macom, but I went out today and bought an M&S one, same as yours but in black. can I ask did you have to go up a size on the back, some girls have saif if they are usually a 34 they get 36. how did you find the sizing.

Yeah I had to get a 34 and would normally be a 32. It’s difficult to move your arms after the op so putting it on is a bit easier if it’s bigger plus you’ll have swelling x

It’s not a post surgery bra but I feel more secure in it than my Macom! Would definitely recommend getting one. X

So much more comfortable, I bought the white high impact sports bra today, I love it although I’m not sure if I should have bought a bigger size! I worn it all day and it gave a lot of support I’ve put my Macom back on for bed though..definitely worth £25 xx

I had the high impact sports bra from day one the nurse said it was fine. I’d definitely recommend going up a back size as it took 2 of us to do it up! Especially with the swelling the first few days. Everyone I’ve spoken to has preferred them over the Macom which is why I’m glad I never bought it xx

I never bought a macom bra, went straight to M&S and bought the post surgical ones. I do hear alot that sleeping in the macoms are more comfy. I have the M&S ones for the day as I am upright and they don’t tend to slip too far under my boobs to irritate the incision. They do in the night so I’ve swapped to wearing a supportive vest top (the one with the built in bra bit). I’m 3wpo tomorrow. 1 more week and I can get rid of this band…it’s driving my bonkers.
