I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem..
my right boob is so swollen, the nurse has got me booked in tomorrow for a second look.
it could just be post op swelling, but me being me, i’m a little panicy because i can see the swelling.

i was a really flat 32 A to start with and i had 350cc under HP,
but my left boob looks fine, and feels fine.

i’m just a little worried, and wondered if someone else had this?

Hi, I’m 1 week post op today, and I’m similar! My left boob had smaller implant, but it’s the bigger more swollen one and it’s always sore! It’s been more sore/swollen since day 1, but today it has particularly sore and swollen looking. I don’t see the nurse until Wednesday. I’m slightly worried the wrong implant was put in (and the right one got the smaller implant?!) or its just more swollen I don’t know. Let me know how you get on? Xx

Hey ladies I had my op in Dec and my smaller breast was swollen also compared to the bigger one and I got bruising around the side and underneath. I think it may just happen I’m general because it takes more of a shove to get the implant in as I’ve read it quite a few times on the forum.

I would advise you take some pics of ur boobs and email them through to a nurse of u haven’t done so already . I called the emergency hotline and the nurse gave me her email and called me straight back after I sent the pics.

Drinking fresh pineapple juice will help also to reduce the swelling as it contains something called bromelian. I got into the habit after the first few days of mixing pineapple juice and water (cos it’s so sweet) to help reduce all swelling and I really think it helped. I’m.arill drinking it now 5wpo

I think it’s more of a problem if one boob is massively bigger than the other and very hot or sore to touch as it could indicate an infection.
    Hope that helps fxxx

I don’t feel like I need to call the nurse just yet, but I’ll keep a close eye on it. It’s my naturally bigger breast (left), with the smaller implant which has swollen the most (and is sore!). My naturally smaller breast, with a 25cc larger implant is ok. So it’s weird! But from the moment I saw them post op, my looked quite abit bigger.
I didn’t know about pineapple juice- I’ll get on this tomorrow! I’m 1 week post op for unders, and I’ve been pretty busy the past 4days so maybe it’s a result of this… thanks for advice tho 🙂

Thank you all for the comments. Makes me feel a little better, I’ve tried an ice pack every night, and I’m seeing the nurse tomorrow so I will definitely keep you updated! I’m definitely getting some Pineapple juice tomorrow too xxx

What an idiot I totally forgot about ice packs until I’ve just read your comment there Shannon! Ahhhh man face palm moment that would’ve helped so much… anyway I had my one week appointment today and one of mine has been noticeably more swollen and painful since waking up from the op. The nurse said it was normal 🙂 but it will be good for you to see the nurse tomorrow for reassurance hopefully it’s all ok!x

I’ve spoken to the nurse via phone and sent over loads of photos and she’s happy for me not to see her today, so I told her I will monitor the breast for a further 2 weeks, but I’ve drank some Pineapple juice today.. onwards and upwards! & I’m just about to take off my plasters wish me luck !! Hahhaa xxx
