14th Feb admission time

So after my initial surgery was cancelled in Jan after MYA messed up I finally have my admission time. Im having my surgery with Mr Traynor on 14th Feb at Preston and I have been told to arrive for 11am. What time will I end up going down? I was hoping to be in earlier.

I have complained to MYA about the issues resulting in my cancelled op and despite sending it twice no one has acknowledged it.

Ive got my macom and my back rest and v pillow getting really nervous now but excited. Im having 350cc unders and hoping ive picked the right size.

@alex1992 are you staying overnight? My boyfriend brought me to york for the weekend to take my mind off it but getting nervous now. Done my online shop so the cupboards are stocked up and done the cleaning trying to get prepared lol

@louise as far as I know I’m still classed as day case but I’ve booked 2 nights in the ibis oppersite which I’m going to use after my surgery because my date changed but it’s over a 2 hour drive back home :/ yeah I’m trying to keep as busy as possible but doesn’t feel real to me still xx

@alex1992 im only hour away and my other half is with me so he will be driving me home. He is working from home for a few days after. Just unpacked from weekend away and going to repack a few essentials.

Hi my admission time was 11 and I went down at like quarter past 2! I also had traynor and had 325 unders:) Good luck ! And I hope you get everything sorted with them I would keep calling them till they’ve looked into it for you ! X

Arghh it still hasn’t hit me yet!! I just feel excited!! We will have to keep intouch tomorrow, I think I will freak when in waiting, you might be ready for your op by the time I get there @louise

Hey girls im out. Feeling tired and just waiting for painkillers but otherwise ok. Feels like an elephant sat on my chest.

My bp is a little low and had a codiene which has helped feeling a little more awake. Last thing i remember is chatting to the anaesthetist and nurse about my job and then being woken up. I didnt have to walk far as i am in the last room before the theatre. Nurse helped me with my bra as soon as i was back

That relaxes me so much more! I just want to go now I feel real fed up and hungry! 🙁 @hannah must be down now

hi ladies hope your both ok – just remember with each day it gets easier and first 3 the worst.. try and sleep and drink as much as possible. TIme will fly by and soon yourl both be amazed at how great you will be feeling within just a few days xx

I went down at 2.15 girls, got here, everyone came to see me and I went straight down because the girl before me was chewing gum x

I went down at 12.30 and was apparently back in my room at 3ish althoughbi dont remember. I home now managed ok on the drive felt like i was gonna be sick when i got in but wasnt.

Ive literally only had discomfort so far, so surprised! Is your gap swollen away from the wall Louise? I can’t believe how great they look but wondering if I should have a D on rather than DD, the 34 band nice and tight though xx

Ive been uncomfortable i set my alarm for midnight for pain kills but slept through and only just had them. Been to the loo and mainly just stiffened up. Going to get ice packs on first thing to help me move my shoulders. I am a bit swollen in the gap but cant tell much. Ive got a small macom on and is quite comfy at the mo. The nurse said my incisions would sting but they havent.

Wondering how @alex1992 is doing?

@ Louise @hannah morning girlies, all went well I was so surprised I thought I would feel really sick from the anastethic but felt fine and not in to much pain, it reminds me if you had a big session at the gym and how your muscles feel after but I might I’ve heard it gets worse untill day 3 .. I’ve not looked at mine face on yet, have you two? I’m scared to judge too soon lol! I went down at like 4.20pm I was abit naughty and had a lemon sherbet on the way down just totally not even thinking so I had to have some tablets before, I just didn’t think and had a long way to travel and hasn’t eaten or drank so my own stupid fault lol! Xxx

@sabrina how far are you now Hun? Yours are incredible you must me so happy! I’m not feeling too bad but this is day one it gets worse doesn’t it? I keep finding random bruises all over so I’m guessing I was thrown about abit lol xxx

@alex1992 glad you are ok. I got home at 7ish with a mcdonalds lol was wretching a bit after the drive but that settled. I slept well. Sore this morning but getting back on top of my pain meds now. Got ice packs on the top and hot water bottle on my back to loosen my muscles. I had a peek before the bra went on and dont want to touch my vra now to look. Are you driving home today alex?

Haha I ordered dominoes! Yeah don’t you feel like it’s just the muscles though as if you pulled them at gym? I got paracetamol and ibroefeun given to me with the antibiotics so just going to keep topped up on them. I can walk around but can’t get up myself lol! Did you get a v shaped pillow? Mine has helped massively and didn’t struggle to sleep on it either and I’m a side sleeper! I’m going to get a hot water bottle today were near a asda thank you for the tip, do you just use it regular? Yeah we’re staying in the hotel again tonight as I paid 2 days for it but my date changed twice and u couldn’t change the hotel again but my admission time was 2pm so worked out really well. I live in hull so it’s quite a long drive back I think it’s about 2-2 1/2 hours drive xx

I’ve had a few looks at mine, can’t believe how great they look already! I have the m&s post surgery bra. No pain just very uncomfortable and tight. Very happy with them so far. I uploaded a photo last night but don’t think it worked. Ah I got to go early because you were naughty Alex haha although Dr Traynor said it was chewing gum you had haha x

@alex1992 the v pillow was a god send i put it across my chest under seatbelt on drive home and ive had it behind me to keep me sat up all day. Ive been using the hot water bottle either behind my shoulder blades to loosen muscles or on abdomen. I have to have clexane injections to reduce clotting which sting so it helps with that. Ive then jad ice packs on the top of my boobs. Feels painful more when i move or sit up or down. Im trying to last 5 to 6 hours in between codiene and cant have ibuprofen as im asthmatic.

@hannah88 you are brave i couldnt even put a flannel on them when i had a wash lol

I’ve had a lot of squeaking from the air bubbles thats weird

From an empty 32A to these, I’m so happy and they are yet to d&f. Dr Traynor is the best!! x

@Hannah88 looks fab you are so brave I couldn’t even consider moving my bra at the moment. Whenever I try to touch them an air bubble pops its freaky. I have an M&S bra also but not sure if it fits yet. Going to try it tomorrow I think then I can change it if not. So far the macom is comfy though.
