3weeks PO, I'm in need of re assurance please !!!

Ok I had my op on 13th October so im 3 weeks in now, I was originally booked in for 12th September but found a breast lump so had to postpone (all was ok though it was a cyst). Anyway I’m after so re assurance please. I had 250cc right and 275cc left over muscle high profile. Iv done everything by the book, rested, Macom bra, you name if Iv done all good. Only I’m worried as the 250cc has swollen more than the 275cc (confusing cos I would have expected other way around) will this go down ???? I’m panicking as I really notice it. Plus has anyone had “mega” over sensitivity in both breasts, some days they actually hurt cos so sensitive. I’m even more worried as I’m going to Cuba in beginning of January (Christmas pressie off hubby), will thing settle down, will I look remotely normal and not uneven with odd breast and erecting nipples all the time ???? Please if anyone has experienced the same. I’m one of the older ladies on here 45 and took the plung after my children now 21 & 20 deflated my breast whilst breast feeding years ago. Was a rather sad looking A/B cup. I could have under muscle as advises (due to my age) i may get what they call “double bubble”. (I googled it, it’s not pretty) so please I’m a bit older and worry more so any advise would be good.

I am experiencing the same. My nipples are super sensitve and feel like thwre erect. But this is normal. Something to do with the nerves. I have just seen my nurse today and i asked her about this. This should settle down in time x

Thanks Vicky, pleased I’m not alone, it can be embarrassing as well as so painful. My husband keeps thinking I’m pleased to see him ????.

Hi Angela, I’m like you one of the older ladies who has had surgery, I’m 47, I’m only 9 Days PO, but my nipples are very sensitive also, I had 275cc unders, but only started out 32aa, my left is a little bigger than my right at minute, I know what you mean about worrying I’m the same, I’m sure things will settle down and you will be fine for your holiday in January.x

Thanks Karen I’m sure as you get older you worry more. Iv wanted this for years and now all I can do I worry if everything is going to turn out ok. I thinks it’s with the increased holiday looming too I do t want to look fake (if that makes sense)

Plus I’m finding it really odd having one breast bigger than other (confusing really as that’s the smaller implant)

Im 3 weeks PO too, iv had 350cc in both and my right boob is also swollen more than the other … its been like that for about a week but im just being patient and waiting for my left boob to joing the drop and fluff process club – waiting is a killer haha – hope your well 🙂

Im almost 7 weeks post op and near enough feel completely normal. My nipples haven’t calmed down completely, but the rest has. Both breasts feel soft, they look natural and have dropped. I think you’ll be fine by January. I can’t believe how many changes have gone on. I found the first week fairly tough, and now life is normal! Good luck! x

Thank you ladies I’m 17days post op, 650cc saline HP unders and also a hairdresser and having that horrible morning boob pain, right(dominate)side is swollen and stubborn too. Did anyone have any under arm swelling and pain on their more tender side?
