absolutly devestated

From start to finish iv had no end of trouble with mya.. From poor customer service.. Being made to travel to manchester for surgeon consultation as he cancelled his leeds clinic.. My op is due in 6 days and theyv rung n cancelled it! They want to resced it for 4 days later. Im furious as already nervous and have no faith in them..and have sorted childcare..travel and work. I think im guna get my money back and go elsewhere.x

Hi hun sometimes they have no consideration of what you have to do before having the op like childcare and travel. Im in the same boat at the minute i was told all my post ops were in birmingham they want me to travel to manchester which is bout 3 hours away to see my surgeon we are already in to about an extra £1000 just for travel ect and my pc cant even be arsed to ring me and sort out an appointnent with my surgeon

they bloody cancelled mine on the day i was furious, i made sure they paid for my taxi there and back and book me in 2 days later they wanted to do it a week later, no way was i having that! Make sure you complain they need to sort it out x

Yeh they r offering travel. But i have no1 to go with. My bf is away my mum is havin my kids.did u still have the same surgeon 2 days later?x

Aw carrie! Sorry to hear your having a bad time. I cant really comment on mya but i had my BA today with transform and everything from start to finish has been great! No cancelled appointments etc! Hope you get everything sorted eventually, its a nightmare when people mess you around especially over something as serious as this, if your not happy demand a refund! Or atleast some money off for the inconvenience xx

Im now having to go to newcastle on monday and c a dif surgeon who will then add me to his list for tues.. Iv had to get mon n tues off wrk. Feel really un easy abt it tbh.x

You poor thing! I am already having serious reservations about MYA, I have seen the surgeon and my PC promised to call me by 8.05.13 to confirm price and date but i have heard nothing – i have rang them and no call back 🙁 just seems poor customer care to me. So i can imagine how stressed out you are about them cancelling at the last minute. x x

Omg their customer service is appauling.. I dnt think iv ever been called back.. Iv always done the calling. Jst makes me worry re the aftercare if the pre surgery care is so bad.x

So sorry that it happened to u hun, but it can happen at the other company aswell as my pc told me that sometimes surgeons themselves cancel their surgery dates and we always blame Mya not a surgeon ….

i had same surgeon as it was my nose, but its terrible how they think they can just pass you on to someone different that youv never met before, atleast book you in with the same gosh x
