    Hey Girls.
I’m 3 weeks po today, I went to the nurse for my strapping off a week after I had, had surgery and she said that I could now lay flat on my back.
This has proved to be difficult and I’ m still sleeping quite elevated, however, not as much as I was the week after surgery, the reason being is that when I lay flat I feel like my boobs are pulling at the side and its uncomfortable!
I’m a girl that has always fallen asleep on her front, so you can imagine how torturous it is for me to lay on my front as it is! I’m ok getting to sleep, I do wake a few times during the night but when I wake up in the morning as I pull myself up I have this very uncomfortable achy pain in my boobs and I have it for about 15-20 mins and then it goes, I’m hoping its nothing to worry about and I know im only 3 weeks po but I just wondered if I’m the only one that has experienced this and if there is a solution for a more comfortable sleep?? xxx

Morning boob! It’s completely normal. Just take painkillers before bed and when you wake up. It’s a killer, your boobs feel so stiff, but t will go soon Hun x

same here hun! more then 3 weeks post op – still on my back! never slept on my back before:S
i sleep on a foam pillow under my back and bum and elevated on a couple of pillows with a v-pillow on the top. it is quite comfy. check my photos, i posted my sleeping arrangement:)
being straight on the back is really hard! unless i wear a good support bra, then it is more or less ok.

@miss-vi I’ve sent you a friend request as I’m super intrigued by your sleeping placement, it’s one thing I’ve been worrying about for post op as I’m definitely a front sleeper…
