Acrylic nails

I’ve got acrylic nails on, do they have to be removed? I was told that if I take my varnish off my toes I will be ok as they need to be able to see the colour of the nail plates on either hands or toes??? Help I’ve got my op in 2 days

They have to be taken off lovely! I felt naked without nails or varnish on haha xxx

I had red gel on my toes I wasn’t told it was toes too, and a clear coat of gel on my nails xx
