    Hi ladies

I know you are asked to remove any nail covering , would removing one nail cover it ? And having toe nails exposed? It’s been quite some time since I’ve seen my natural nail x

You need your fingers and toes free because they will need to put an O2 sats monitor on you and they don’t work though fake nails/ nail varnish. Also it’s toes if they need to check your blood flow it’s done by pressing on your toe nail and seeing how quickly the colour comes back which obviously they won’t be able to see if you have varnish on. Hope this helps xx

I went into hospital today and had sedation and local for a camera I went in with gel nails on and nail polish over the top and they still managed to get a reading! Must depend on the thickness x
