I heard that being a DD+ was going to tricky in finding nice bras and it has proven to be very difficult. Debenhams is the only place really where I have found nice comfortable bras that don’t dig me in the ribs like M&S and Boux Avenue. As lovely as their bras are, I can’t be having wire in my rib!

Victoria Secret proved to be difficult as 32DDD only really have a handful which is good in a way because I am very picky. But there is one in my collage from VS which I am more than happy with.

If anybody knows of any good DD+ websites or London stores then do let me know. A couple of photos are attached of some I have bought and succeeded in being not too ‘granny’ as some people say a lot of DD+ bras are.

Heya lauren! The bras are lovely, have you true la Senza? They have some beautiful bras: http://www.lasenza.com/bras.html?size=1051

I was also wondering I know you have to wait 6 weeks to get measured for bras, I go back to work at 4 weeks and do you reckon I could get measured then JUST for a sports bra? As I have a Macom atm but I can’t wear something so thin I’m a mechanic and I have to rest a lot on my chest and I think thatl hurt my new boobies lol xxx

Hi Lauren 🙂 they look amazing! When did you start your bra shopping? I’m 3WPO on Wednesday and itching to know what size I am but I know that they will change more! I’m also hoping they don’t go smaller anymore to? Hope you can help 🙂 thanks xxxx

@nikitta95 Hey Nikitta. Well I only wore my Recova for 2 weeks and then looked on Amazon at some DD sports bras and they’re comfier but I wouldn’t advise to get a bra when you’re 4 weeks. Maybe go to M&S or look around for a bra that fits you nice. Most of them aren’t actual sizes. They’re more Small Medium or Large/XLarge.
You have an active job so you’ll need something comfier definitely.
Good luck babe. Only two more weeks!! Xx

@kiml it’s so exciting Kim. I have 6 at the moment and my draw is almost full up but I can’t stop ahopping. A lot of places have specific bras and sections for bigger chests but all the pretty bras are DD and below!!!!! I love my boobs regardless though. X

@chelsea7 Hey chels. I started at around 6-7 weeks post op and bought loads on the same day from Debenhams. Best place I’ve tried so far. The two lace bras in my collage are from there. Expensive though. Around £20-£30 but with implants you want to fulfill the full feel and look of new boobs so it’s worth it 100%.

They won’t change a hell of a lot. But as they are still dropping they will seem smaller. Because my left implant is dropping slower and is much firm and ‘sitting there’ it feels the bra out more where on my right there is sometimes a minor gap which I have to close by adjusting the straps so when I’m fully dropped I can suss out how to adjust my bras! If you are dropping different you may have this issue but explain that to the lady who’s measuring you as she may put you in a smaller size and it won’t fit when you fully heal. X

@chelsea7 attached is a photo of my dropping from 2 weeks to 4 weeks. You can tell how after 4 weeks they’re not sitting on my chest as much and are dropping more into the pocket. This can take up to a maximum of 6 months and full recovery is a possible 18 months babe. Slow process but worth it in the end. Try not to look at them everyday or you won’t see a difference. Keep them couped in a bra and look at them or take photos every 2 weeks maybe. X

Huit is a good online store as well as Bra stop, Curvy Kate and Dear Scantily. One of my best friends is a blogger for ladies with larger boobs (thank god ive got her) and pointed me in their direction and I can safely say that I now can’t wait to get to 6 weeks and start trying bras on!
Her site is fullerfigurefullerbust if anyone fancied a look as she lists lots of places you can get bigger bras!

    Hope that helps xx

@katex I thought mine were going to be a DD but I’m an E and an F in some bras. You are only 2 weeks so you may go down a cup come 4 weeks time because they would have dropped whereas right now they’re kinda just sitting there I imagine. An E/F is impressive though, just tricky with finding nice ones! X
