Admission?!

My op is on Tuesday and I’m getting more and more worried about admission times, I’m hoping it’s early but I need to book a hotel for the night before if it is early. When do people usually find out the admission times and is it by phone or email I’m worried that I won’t know until Monday lol

Hey. On the MYA paperwork they say you’ll find out your admission time 24-48hours before your op day. However, I received mine 7 days before by email. The timescale tends to vary depending on clinic and hospital but there’s no harm in giving your PC a call. Xx

I know that’s why I’m worried I won’t know until Monday just wanted to know how most people find out lolol

My op was on Tuesday gone and I got an email on Friday evening. My admission time was 11am but I was an overnight case as I had an uplift and implants.

Thanks girls – I’ve called me PC and she hasn’t heard anything yet – maybe it’s going to be a busy day or Fitzroy delay letting people know. Who knows … hopefully find out tomorrow, fingers crossed

I had my op yesterday and found out the week before my admission time. It was 8am but I didn’t have the op till about 12:30 ???? X

Well I’m hoping they call or text I’ve told my PC that I can’t get into my emails so she said she would try and text tolet me know but still nothing. It think it’s 50:50 sogo instraight away others wait a while

Still nothing girls – my op is on Tuesday I know they can let you know upto 24 hours before but seriously didn’t think I’d actually find out on the day before my operation! I almost feel as though it won’t be happening now

Hi Alexia, yes I contacted her and she said on Saturday she hasn’t had the times through yet, so if I haven’t got them by 9am tomorrow I will be calling her again. I know they says 24-48 hours before but most people find out days before and I just didn’t expect they would let me know literally the day before but fingers crossed they haven’t left me off the list or something for Tuesday lol

Yes, I called first thing today and nothing but she’s literally just emailed me and said my admission is 7am. Finally! Earlier than I expected but at least I can start preparing. X

Omg alexia it all is starting to feel so real now! Lol. Thank goodness you got yours already I can’t believe they only let me know less than 24 hours before but I guess these things happen!
Just need to ensure I pack everything I need as we will be leaving at like 5am tomorrow morning!
