Admission in an hour and still stuck in traffic!!?

I live half hour from Fitzroy I left an hour ago and still sitting in traffic! My admissions at 10am and I’m worrying I won’t make it. What happens if I’m late for admission?

Hey @jessica, try not to stress I’m sure you will be absolutely fine and make it on time and even if your slightly late just make sure you give them a heads up you are running a bit late. I’m sure it will be okay! Good luck xxxx

Such stress, got here with five minutes to spare thankfully! I jumped out the car at Edgware Road and got the tube the rest of the way.

Anyway within ten minutes I was shown to my room, dressed in the very flattering clothing the provide and had all the checks done.

Now waiting for my surgeon. Yikes I’m excited!

I no the stress this morning was ridiculous but it’s been worth every moment. I had my surgery about 1 as he got a little delayed.

The nurses have been brilliant and very efficient, the theatre staff are very calm and put you at ease. Nothing has hurt at all just my chest is of course tight and heavy.

I’m sure tomorrow the pain will play part but defo worth it 🙂
