    Hey ladies,
I’m booked in on the 19th April and I’m the last appointment of the day, so over night. Just wondering who has been at the same time, if you were booked to stay over night what time could your otherhalf/parents stay with you? I’m really nervous because I don’t want to be alone in a hospital by myself. What time was your operation and admission time?? I’m at the Fitzroy. thank you!! xx

I went down for my surgery around 4:45 and woke up at 6:30. I’m not sure if I was the last one but it looked as if people were leaving as they took me up to my room from recovery. I had a bit of a funny turn when I woke up so they were going to contact my mum for me but got told she could only stay until 9:30?
To be honest though, you’ll probably sleep from the moment you go back to your room until the next morning and the nurses pop in often to make sure you’re alright so you’re never alone for long. I laid watching the TV until I fell asleep xx

Thanks for that Amy, i’m so nervous about this haha. Were you in a lot of pain when you woke up? Were you in a room by yourself? xx

You’ll be fine! I done the whole thing completely on my own and I’m a baby lol. It all goes so quickly you don’t even have a chance to get yourself worried.
I was in a bit of pain when I first woke up but I think that was just the shock of it all, after the morphine I was perfectly fine. I also had some complications which made things slightly worse for me. Getting up is the most painful thing as you can’t really put much pressure on your arms but the nurses are there to help!
Yeah I was in a room on my own so you can just chill out xx
