Admission times???

Anyone know how long before your op date you get your admission times? The suspense is killing me. Can’t wait to get them all done ? xx

My op is on Monday and I got my time this afternoon! the suspense killed me as well 🙂 xx

Mine is Tuesday. Hopefully I’ll know by tomorrow then! I’m staying in overnight cos she couldn’t have any more day cases. So I know it’ll be the afternoon sometime. Just want to know when I can eat before ? I got a four hour journey up on the morning so I will be starving. Bet your excited xx

Thank you, I feel completely fine just very cold. Obviously my chest feels heavy but wouldn’t say painful. Just trying to coax my husband in to going through the burger king drive through on the way home lol xx

Just to let you know as well Hannah, I got told not to eat for 6 hours before hand and my admission time was 12! I was up at 5.30 this morning to have some cereal just so I had eaten before the journey!! Xx

Aww I don’t think I’ll be in til the afternoon as I have to stay overnight. We are leaving at 5 in the morning so I will be having breakfast before we leave. Hope you get your burger! I’m a right starver lol! Do they email you admission times? Xx

I text my PC to confirm when it was as I am really inpatient, I got an email to confirm and she then text me later in the day. I hope everything goes really well for you on the day and you have a great recovery xx

Aww I’m hoping I’ll get a email tomorrow then. I haven’t got my pc mobile number and she hasn’t answered emails I’ve sent before. How are you feeling now? ? Xx

I think the admission time email is auto generated as it is just generic and scared me cos said up to 6 hours waiting time after admission but spoke to PC after and she said that would be very unlikely. We were all delayed but the staff were all super nice about it and kept coming to check on me. At home now and if I am totally honest, getting comfy is not easy at all. It is true though that it’s more discomfort than pain. I am shocked at how little I can do with my arms!! My husband joked that’s the first time he has had to put my clothes ON me!!
I really hope you get your time tomorrow as it does put you at ease a bit because it makes it seem more real and the excitement builds up even more!! Xx

Haha my boyfriend will have a shock putting clothes on me to. Haha! I haven’t heard anything yet. I hope you start feeling more comfortable over the next few days xx

My Op is on Tuesday as well, I also haven’t received my admission time yet either. Starting to get a bit worried now. I’m staying in over night too so assuming it will be PM rather then AM.
