I had overs Thursday morning and there’s no way I’d be back after a week, granted the pain isn’t that bad but I don’t feel stable enough sat up as they’re so heavy and was also recommended by my surgeon to stay at a 45 degree angle for 5 days to help them stay in place as they can move so much the first few days x

I had unders. I booked 2 weeks off as origianally worked with children so needed to have the 2 weeks I’ve changed jobs now but still taking the 2 weeks off. It’s usually a week if you work in an office but you need to speak to you’re pc as everyone different and depends on you’re actual surgery. I’m d4 post op and im all good went shopping in town yesterday and a spot of lunch and not had any pain but still taking pain killers just incase.

I had 2 weeks off work, used annual leave. I defo needed 2 weeks off – I had unders and work in an office. 3 weeks would have been ideal as my first week back at work I struggled to drive – using the gear stick was painful ????

I’m having unders, I work in an office and taking 10 days off . With regards to annual leave/sick note – I’m a HR manager and I would advise taking leave. If you use a doctors note then technically you’re deemed unfit to work but because it’s a cosmetic procedure and you’re not actually ‘sick’ it would be at the employers discretion whether or not to accept it. Out of courtesy to your employer I would just take leave. Perhaps speak to them first as they might be understanding.

Hi Emma, I had an uplift and had 2 weeks off work. I took it as sick leave and got a warning even though I wasn’t signed off fit to work. If you have leave I’d take it as leave. Xx
