    So I’m 7weeks post op and dying to get back to body weight training ie pull ups, push ups and weight train shoulders!…yet at 6 week appointment they said I’m ok to get back to gym just not train chest as they will take 6months to 1 year to settle in there pockets and the risk of capsular contraction in this time:(….yet when researched you can get cp at any time. X

    Hey hun. Yeh i thought that was weird as most girls can go back to full training at 6 weeks. Have you had any recovery issues?x

    So far no my one still has a scab on and stitch not dissolved she offered to trim it and I refused said it will go when it’s time! Lol was scared really!!…so said they looked fine but saying it takes 6months to 1 year to form scar tissue inside and they take 6weeks for cuts to heal but you have not fully healed on the inside. Xx

    Thats so weird that people are getting lots of different stories. Im still way off exercising but will keep you updated on what my nurse says. She told be 6 weeks at my 1st week check up.

    Fair enough on the stitches. I dont like touching the scars at the mo. Eek x

    Hi Kaylee 🙂 I’m only a week PO however I also do weight training and pole fitness and I’m really concerned about exercise :/ I’ve already been told I’ve lost part of my chest muscle and strength due to having unders but my surgeon said go back to exercise after 6 weeks but don’t do any chest exercises as you won’t be healed inside fully. I’m going to ask my nurse on Tuesday when I get the stitches out. Can’t stand not exercising though! xD xx

    @rosie thankyou:)…@meg I had hp practicals…I was a gym enthusiast and since op I’m like a couch potato and ate rubbish due to board em (no excuse I no)..so put on a lot in 7weeks and dying to just do my routines and burn calories on stepper but to scared as my boobies bounce lol may I say in which my breasts have never bounce lol! X

    Ahhh same kaylee! I’m putting on weight already and losing my muscles, it’s horrible! 😆 haha but I am loving the boobies and actually filling a sports bra! As long as you wear a really high impact sports bra and start from the beginning at the gym to build it up, you should be fine 🙂 xx
