Alcohol after your op

Hi ladies I totally forgot to ask the nurses when I was discharged this morning, I’ve called mya but the nurse isn’t in Til tomorrow but I wondered if any of you ladies knew about the rules on drinking after surgery? I’m at a wedding on Saturday so would probably be drinking wine and champagne but wondered if we were allowed?xxx

I’m pretty sure it’s once your antibiotics have stopped x

I was told as soon as you are off medication your fine. My hen do is 18 days PO so I hope I feel fine by then!! Xx

Awww no that’s next Wednesday!!! Gutted!!!! No champers or wine for me on Saturday then, altho a couple won’t harm I hope!!! Awww have a lovely hen do 🙂 xxx

probs when u have stopped ur antibiotics coz they dont work when mixed with alcohol xxx

I still had a few glasses of wine while I was on my antibiotics and I was fine hun!! Xx

Think I’ll deffo have a few glasses of wine still just won’t go mad it will be day 3 PO so I’ll just go careful 🙂 thanks girlies.xxx
