    So finally it’s over with!
Went for surgrey on the 3rd of April a overnight case. When I arrived I expected to be waiting along time due to being overnight but only waited so 2 hours in the end! After the op I was groggy from the anesthetiser and drugs but I looked Down and saw boobs!! Strapped up sore ones but never the less I had boobs at last lol. Back at the room I was uncomfortable but not in pain. Apart from drains coming out which is obviously painful, however felt better when they were out! Cannot fault one thing the nurses and staff were excellent and checked on me for meds drinks ice etc every hour . I was quite shocked at how much it didn’t hurt just uncomfortable.. Boy has that changed!!:(
I’m on day three now at home and the pain is so horrible.. Back ache from sleeping upright , tiredness , tightness from strapping/sports bra and boobs are rock hard and burning constantly also need help to even sit up 🙁 to add to the matters where my cannula has been in my arm it’s so painfull to touch. I’ve read day three/four is the worst so I’m trying to soldier on and keep positive with the support of my lovely boyfriend and mum . Just trying to think it can only get better!
Any tips on healing, sleeping would be appreciated !x

I had mine on 1 st April too and today is the best day so far, less burning pains, can get up off the sofa myself, I’ve been able to move my arms up and down and to the side with little pain which is helping with stiffness and burning, only had 1 painkiller today as I was feeling very sick since the beginning but think it’s the antibiotic 🙁 still feel sick. It’s so difficult to believe you’ll ever feel back to normal but you really do 🙂 just make sure you take it easy to aid recovery, I rang the nurse this morning and she said to try move around more xxx

I also had mine on 1st April and i’ve not suffered as much as i thought i would. I have been getting out of bed since day 1 and moving around, even if it was just to walk to the kitchen to get an ice pack or a drink. i really think that moving around helped me as i wasn’t as stiff as i would have been if i was just sat still for days on end. I also managed to go for a small walk with my dogs last night and came back feeling much more refreshed. I’d try moving around a little depending on your pain and it will hopefully ease things up for you 🙂
