I had my op on Tuesday and the anaesthetic is nothing to worry about it is so quick and it feels like the op is over in 30 seconds when you come round you do feel a bit groggy and spaced out I felt dizzy too but everyone is different, it will be so much easier then you think there is nothing to worry about honestly! Good luck xxx

Hey. Make sure you don’t eat much food before your cut off time. Although it might seem like a good idea to prevent you from feeling hungry, anaesthetic is absorbed through body fat and the less you have, the worse you will feel and as a result you may be sick which is only made worse with food in your stomach.
Good luck with your op. Xx

It’s nothing to worry about it promise. I was terrified before I was put to sleep but before you know it it’s over and you feel silly for worrying. The only thing I found after was I was freezing, the first time I got up I was a bit dizzy and I had the hiccups for hours after haha. Good luck!
