This is going to sound crazy, I am not scared of the surgery (little bit nervous) but I am crapping myself about being put to sleep if I have to have a drip into a vain! haha I feel like I sound mad but how do they put you to sleep with the gas or a needle?

I had the needle and I don’t know but assuming they all use this technique. But they really relaxed me and they have someone there to talk to you and distract you xx

I have a built up fear about this needle in my arm, if I think about it I feel all sore! I am such a sap! xx

No you’re not! I hate them too. I’ve had 4 in my life and I hate them. But the thought of it is a lot more worse than reality! Trust me you’ll be fine!

I have had anaesthetic before so wasn’t too worried jut always makes me feel a little sick a nauseous during recovery . The needle itself feels like a little scratch and one minute your there chatting rubbish as they talk to you and reassure you and the next your away with the fairies and waking up to boobies 🙂 xx

It also depends on who does it. My anethatist (spelt that wrong probably) put an anti sickness in at the same time. I was fine till 2 days later when I bought up a tiny amount. Also lots of water to flush it out your system helps!

Oh I’m not sure I had the anti sickness thingy? I don’t think I did but maybe I should have has as I was quite sick after xx

I’m so petrified of needles blood etc. The nurse will come in and rub some magic cream on your had then put the needle in your hand with a tube attached ready for the anesthetic to go though. when you go down to surgery they will put the anesthetic in your hand whist giving you gas and air to get you to sleep.

You really cant feel anything. Honestly its such a weird feeling but they are so nice and they don’t let you look if they know your nervous.

The anethasist Stay with you so I you show any sign of waking up he will just give you some more but there’s only a very tiny chance of it happening . They are fully qualified and I’m sure they will get ou to sleep properly just don’t worry about it and think about your lovely boobies xx

Babes I was (am) absolutely petrified of the GA – Don’t mind the needles at all, That i could take all day long it is just the knowing i’m being put to sleep i cant stand and the fear of the unknown! However the longer I wait the more i’m getting impatient and want to hurry and go and have it now xx
