Ill only be 3 weeks PO tomorrow, but after seeing photos of some peoples incisions i dont feel like mine are healing very well, i only got my dressings off on day 16 so not sure if its just due to only being able to have showers again since thursday or bras rubbing on them or what but they seem angrier than everyone elses iv seen at this stage! Does/did anyone elses look remotely like mine at this stage? Thanks x
Hiya hun, mine looked like that for about 3/4 weeks, you might just be slower at healing! I still have a big dirty scab on the end of my incision with the stitch knotted up in it! I’m almost 7weeks po and still waiting for it to fall off lol, I’m sure it’s fine aslong as their not hot red or really causing you agg xxx
Hey hun I’m now 17 days PO and mine aren’t even close to being healed. It literally depends on yourself how quickly yours go. Here’s a picture of my incisions today X
Hi @Leanne. I feel the same as you however I am only 8 days post op however my mum had hers done a good amount of years ago and she said my incisions aren’t good and also I’ve got a hole and over laping. I’ll upload a few pics if it will work. If not tomorrow I’m going to update my profile pictures.
Hi Leanne, my scars look the same as yours. I think as long as they’re not burning swollen it weeping you’re doing ok. My boobs don’t seem to have dropped much yet so my scars are quite visible yours look to be tucked nicely underneath xx
Thank you girls! I feel abit better now. Abbie i am happy with where they are, right on the crease so i think once they do heal theyl be less noticable but im not loving how sort of jagged they are at the min! They dont seem straight at all but i guess its not a huge issue! X
Hi girls. I’m having my dressings removed and stitches taken out tomorrow. I’m really hoping that they’ve neatened up otherwise I think I’ll have to mention that I’m unhappy. One of then has seemed to cause a fold and a slight hole is occurring. I can’t upload the pics on here as the file size is too big annoyingly. Here’s to hoping that the swellings gone down and they are better under the dressings! X

Mine look like theyre folding too, my nurse rang me today as the mod seen my post and passed it on so im gonna send her some photos so she can take a look, she did explain that sometimes the stitches can sometimes go inwards while theyre healing which could cause it but it goes back to nomal or something, i didnt really understand lol x

@Leanne Hey! Sorry for the late reply busy evening! All went fine and I am pleased that my incisions are looking much less bulging and my nurse was happy with them and removed my stitches (was as bad as I thought just a little nippy). They are still swollen and aren’t flat and neat yet but I’m now waiting until my 6 week check up. Some girls look amazing after 2 weeks and mine definitely don’t look like that. I wasn’t able to shower today as have to cover these up with a dressing for a few days then remove and I can shower. So I just had another bath 🙁 xx
