annoyed!

Hey girls my op is tomorow and i still didnt receive my admission time!! So I rang mya and they didnt have it so then I rang the hospital and they said 2pm?? is this normal as im a daycase and was u der the impression daycases go in at an earlier time. Really annoyed as id booked a hotel to stay in the night before. My pc told me it was a quiet day so i was expecting to go in as one of the first? x

Your admission time doesnt always reflect your surgery time. I was a day case admitted at 11am but was last on the list and didnt have op until 5:10pm so dont worry too much about your admission time x

I was also a day case and had my admission time changed from 12pm to 2pm. I was in theatre by 5.30 the surgeon will have an order list and tbere was still 2 day cases to go down after me! I was discharged about 11.30pm it would have been earlier but had to wait for my drip to finish xx

My admission time was 13:00 yesterday, was in surgery for 13:50 I was a day case. Hope that helps babe good luck xx

I had my ba yesterday and my admission time was 2pm but didn’t have my sugery until half 5 , so don’t worry hunny xxxx

Also I would recommend staying in a hotel afterwards even though o experienced no pain what so ever the nurses and the surgeon did say they hoped I was staying no more than an hour away ( I was staying in the ibis which is literally next to the hospital ) just in case so I highly recommend me staying another night just to be on the safe side xx

Can u ring the hotel and ask to swop the nights over so u don’t pay for the 2 and just travel up there in the morning instead xx

They only told me my admission time at 1pm today too abbey. I rang the hospital and they told me 10 then when Mya finally rang me they told me 8am. So eventually they sorted it and my time is 10am. I think they’re very unprofessional when it comes to letting you know times etc. Xxx

Hey toni ive been trying to reply to your message you sent me but it hasnt been letting me! yeah they are! when i had my op me and another girl both had 730 admission time. i went down at about 9 and she didn’t go down until 11 or so. admission time is just the time you get there but by the time you get gowned and asked questions n taken down its going to be quite a bit later anyway. it is all confusing though! but least your be going home tomorrow either way with it all done :)xx
