Annoyed

The week before my op I found out via this forum that my PC had left (Anne Marie from the Birmingham clinic) so I had to call 3/4 times to get my admission time at the hospital. Now I’m four days post op and haven’t had one call/text to see how I got on, I don’t even know who my PC is as I haven’t been given another one? Feel really let down by MYA after paying all this money. Also I have my post op appointment on Saturday and I haven’t even been sent anything to confirm that?

My op went fine, surgeon was fantastic and love my new boobies just feel like the communication is rubbish!

I was exactly the same, my PC just randomly got changed when i went for my pre-op! Before i booked she was ringing me to see how everything was going but since ive had it done ive heard nothing! For the amount we’re paying them the service seems really bad!xx

I’ve not heard from Mya either, no call from my PC or nurse since my op on Saturday. Luckily healing seems to be going well but a call to see how I am would be nice….

Guys, I’m not sticking up for anyone but… Sometimes if someone has left everything ends up in the air. Please try not to think bad, I thought that at the start. Esp: when people are saying they get calls and stuff all the time. If no-one phones by tomorrow (I’m sure the team on here will make sure they do) then I’d be upset! But remember there’s hundreds of women getting this done, they all have a pc some pc’s may have a few girls on the go, then one leaves, someone else needs to take them on.. Holidays and so on.. Yes they do get paid but like everyone, might be a bad day for them/holiday/just shit day alone with lots of different girls. Just trying to say there human like us all and each of our cases are so different and at the end of the day I’m sure it’s just a ba**s up but they happen in life xx hope someone phones soon or why not phone and ask (in a nice homely manner) if u have been forgot about. Maybe I’m wrong xx

Hi chelsey, same thing here really. No contact from pc. Had to chase admission times and also post op appointments. Am hearing that communication from mya is largely bad across the board. Xx

Hey Chelsey, sorry to hear that, I’m guessing its just an unfortunate staffing issue with your clinic because I can’t fault them! I’m in Bristol and my pc text me a couple of times the morning after my surgery and I’ve had 2 calls from an 0161 number (possibly head office) within the first 4 days checking how I’m getting on and confirming my po check! I’m glad you’re happy with your boobies but that isn’t the only thing that you paid for, I’d call your clinic, tell them that you want to be assigned a pc and expect to hear from her asap!!
