Hey girls! I’m 2 days post op now, it still hasn’t sunk in! I really struggle with swallowing tablets (I have to have liquid medication) so I’m really struggling to swallow these antibiotics! Is anyone else like this or does anyone have any tips on how to swallow them? I’ve tried everything and it’s taking me like half an hour to just swallow one tablet! Xxx
Hey Jess, I’m a right one for taking tablets & really struggle … What I tend to do know it’s put it right at the back of my tongue and take a big gulp of water , try not to think about it too much as it will take you about 3 attempts to get it down haha! Also I used to tip my head back , but don’t it’s wrong it actually shuts off the throat(says my brother who’s a nurse)

Can you have them with a little bit of food. Much easier as with food you are ready to swallow lumps. A small piece of biscuit, just before you swallow pop it in and swallow.
