Hey girls, I’m a nurse and booked for my procedure start of June. I’m planning to go back to work on day 19 PO, how were people with pain and what was your movement like too? Just hoping that is enough time as can’t afford 3 weeks annual leave off ?. I’m a paediatric nurse so quite hands on etc

After a Ba op you should take things easy and not to over do things , 1-4 weeks no lifting or carrying heavy items , 4-6 weeks light chores , after 6weeks can resume normal activities …. I’ve been careful to follow the nurse’s advice because I didn’t want to cause any complications

i had no pain what so ever and i was very bruised and swelled, i stopped all pain killers after 4 days and never took any since, you are limited on movement for a few days but i would say thats only because your not used to not been able to move as usual, you will be totally back to yourself after a week! but its nothing dont worry! the worst thing is the side effects of the co-codamol they were making me feel ill xxx

I’m 18days now. I’m pretty much back to normal except the heavy lifting. Everyone is different though. X
