Anybody a hairdresser? Help

I am a hair dresser and I have a week and a half off work after as it’s important not to loose clients but is this going to be enough time?

Hi I’m also a hairdresser, I booked two and a half weeks off but I would have been fine to go back after a week!! It’s honestly not as bad as you think, my pain was bad for 2/3 days then my arms were pretty useless but I remember thinking just after a week I could have defiantly of gone back!

If you book your own appointments just allow more time as you don’t was to cause any damage also raising your arms really high was still painful so no root lift blow dries lol!! X

Thank you for replying I’m an assistant/ graduate stylist at the moment so I do have clients in like the week I’m back I have a full head of fools with a cut in between then a cut after I just don’t think I’m going to be ready at all! But I don’t want to take anymore time off I’m worried a little bit xx

I honestly panicked just like you, I remember on day 3 thinking that two and half weeks wouldn’t be enough but honestly your body will recover so quickly and you’ll wonder why you ever panicked! I would say the hardest thing was pumping shampoo bottles…it even hurts a little now at 5 and half weeks post op!

Just get plenty of rest while your off and you’ll be fine! Xx

I am a hairdresser and I have my op on Sunday, I go back 10 days after my op. I was also panicking that I won’t be ready to go back but this has reassured me. A girls mum at my work had a boob reduction and she keeps reminding me I won’t be ok and I’ll still be in loads of pain so I have been worried ? but surly a boob reduction is worse recovery etc than having A boob job?

@hannah oh defiantly breast reduction there like basically cutting you up like a piece of meat lol!! At 10 days I was thinking I wish I had gone back sooner so I hadn’t wasted so much holiday!! I had my under the muscle as well which is meant to be the most painful! Good luck girls xx
