Anyone else had 12pm admission time?

Just got my admission time for Monday, 12pm! ??(first trust Preston)
Anyone else had this time? About how long did you wait?
I’m so excited and not looking forward to sitting around hours like a nervous wreck haha x

Mine was 12 at first trust on monday i went down just after 3 and left about 7.30pm. When you come round they have to do obs every half an hour 5 times then one after an hour then if youre okay you can go home xx

Did you take arnica or anything before hand? And did you use certain body wash the night before? I have so many questions about what I need to do (my nurse was meant to phone me back over a week ago but hasn’t!)
Also do we have to go makeup free lol? Xx

@kelly-93 I was totally fine about it and then today I just started getting nervous about being put under cos I’ve never had a general anaesthetic before! I got told to just shower the night before or morning of op and not use any soaps or body lotions. You’re only allowed to moisturise your face and that’s it! I’ve bought some arnica which I’m taking with me for after but a few people have said they got told not to take it before hand cos it can thin your blood. And I’m just stopping in the travelodge that’s the nearest to the hospital x

@jorfel92 yeah I’m nervous about that too because I’ve never had it before either!
So we can’t get washed with body wash or anything, just water? And no make up? Not even mascara?! Ahhh! ?

Yeah I’ve read that it thins your blood so wasn’t sure! I’ll get some when I get home Tuesday then. I’m in the holiday inn down there it’s about 10 mins away x

I was back in my room about 4 and left at half 7. No i cant take arnica because i take ibuprofen daily. I showered in the morning with normal body wash before i went and no deodrant, make up, moisturiser, jewellry etc xxx

My admission time was 12 too. I went to theatre about 3.30 and left around 7 but that was only because I was quite sick afterwards otherwise I could have gone earlier. Good luck!! Xx

Hey, my time was 3 on Tuesday and my op was at 6.30. I didn’t leave until 2 pm the next day as wasn’t very well. Am home now tho 🙂

Ah well at least I have an idea of roughly how long I’ll be waiting ☺️
Do they supply you with pain killers etc or should I stock up on tablets before hand? If so what would I need?

I got given co-codamol and antibiotics but maybe get some ibuprofen or paracetamol too, I was sick off the co-codamol so couldn’t take them! Xx

@chipmunk Hi Jo, I still haven’t lol my pc hasn’t got back to me so I’m just going to wait and see Dr Mounir on the day and hopefully he has time to quickly go through it with me xx

I was already staying over don’t worry… I just felt dizzy the next day and they wouldn’t let me go until I could walk. I really needed to stay over having 2 ops at once tho u will be fine. X

I was given paracetamol and ibuprofen and not cocodamol because i react funny to it. But have tramadol at home anyway which ive been taking. Its my ribs that are hurting rather than my boobs though so just sat with ice packs on my ribs x

Did you get a breast band Brittany? That’s what’s hurting me so much it’s just so tight. My nurse doctor said not to take ibuprofen as it effects the healing of boobs?! X

No i didnt get a breast band thank god they dont seem too nice! Oh how strange that they gave me them?! X

Maybe as I am taking the cocodamol?! Who knows?! You are so lucky not having the breast band ha. How are you feeling today?! X

I have 12pm admission time on Monday too at Preston! The worry is starting to set in now a bit, can’t believe it’s finally here! I’m with Dr Mounir and going for 350 overs, the girls on here with that size look amazing so fingers crossed 🙂 I didn’t realise you’d be in for so long during the day, they were pretty vague at my consultations, I feel bad for my poor friend now sitting there all day. Kelly do you have someone coming with you? If you get panicky please come and panic with me!

@smghn Hi Stephanie! How strange that we all have the same admission time for the same surgeon haha, I want either overs or partials cause I love how they look! I know I’m dreading waiting around all that time, my boyfriends coming with me ☺️
Haha aw I’m just so excited now, will probably be a bag of nerves on the day no doubt! Just wish it was here x

@kelly-93 yeah that’s strange, wonder who’ll go first! Yeah I debated partials but I’ve been struggling to find photo examples on here so might just play it safe and get overs. Yeah me too but not long now! Tomorrow will probably be the longest day ever 🙁 x

Yeah good idea! I originally agreed on unders but gonna change my mind on Monday as I prefer how overs/partials look.

Have you got everything all sorted for Monday then? I’ve got a suitcase packed cause we’re staying in a hotel nearby, but not sure if I need to take a seeprste bag into re hospital with me with pj’s in? X
