Well I’ve had my 3 month first post op checkup today and I have to do a massage technique every night for 3 months to help one of my new boobs ,which is still causing me some discomfort , settle down and soften up more and help break up the scar tissue. Has anyone else needed to do this and has it worked for you? I have to lie on my front and roll on my boob side to side for 2 mins lol xx

Hi sharon, have my 3month check on monday, but have been massaging since about 8weeks but just normal bio oil massage no rolling involved!!! Still having problems with one of mine not dropping fully and a very sore nipple but hopefully will put my mind at rest when I see the surgeon on monday, hope your massaging works for you xx

Me too Teresa, it hurts a bit doing it and I feel a right fool but hey if it works! My problem one’s still higher than the other and is uncomfy in a bra unlike the other one which feels great . I just have to make sure I lock the bathroom door so no one walks in on me lol. Good luck on Monday xx

Hi Laura, its Mr Mounir. Yeah, it’s a very strange thing to have to do lol. I did my first set when I got home an hour ago and I’m sore and throbbing a bit. I had overs and one of mine is higher and firmer than the other so hopefully this’ll sort it out x

Hi girls, hope you are all doing well. I was told my my PS not to bother! Hate it when I see conflicting info, argh! He said it wouldn’t do any harm if I did, but that it isn’t proven to do anything :-/. Would be interested to hear what anyone else has been told?! Thanks girls x

It’s very strange no0108 and not a pleasant thing to have to do haha. I’ve been really achey in that boob since I started doing it , so much so I rang the clinic this morning to make sure it should be hurting more. I’ve been told it should get easier but to ring after a week, if I’m in any more discomfort . I think each surgeon has their own ways and views don’t they, very confusing as I’ve been googling implant massage and some are all for it and some say its a waste of time especially with textured implants. Going to stop doing my research and do as I’m told lol x
