Anyone had surgery at Preston hospital?

Hiya, just wondering if anyone has had surgery at the first trust Preston hospital? My surgery is next week on Wednesday, however I have to get the train up on my own then my partner will be picking me up when he’s finished work. But I wanted to know if anyone got a taxi from Preston train station to the hospital and which one to use? I can’t seem to find any on Google? Xx

I haven’t been myself.. But I’m there next Wednesday too! I know it’s a good 20 minute walk from the station so I’d just flag a taxi abd they know exactly.. Good look with your op Hun! Xx

Hi i went and got the train, when you go out the doors taxi’s are waiting there for you..if theres none stand there and one will come, or if not call 01772884000 ‘miller taxis’ i got them to Asda (btw there asda has a Mcdonalds inside!) lol xxx

Take things to pas the time as you ll prob be waiting 3-4 hours all staff are lovely though!

Thanks hunni. I’ve bought a few magazines and I’ll have my phone too so hopefully that will be enough. I might buy a book too lol. Don’t normally have that much time to myself with my kiddies, might as well make the most of it haha xx

Yeah! It was nice for me too! I’ve got a little one wish I’d took magazines. I was watching house wives of Texas I think it was hehe x

@tracy yes can’t believe it’s only next week we have it done ,I am a little scared but very excited I have got everything ready I think I just can’t wait ,how are you feeling xx

The hospital is really nice it’s very pretty and calm xxx try not to be too scared that was the worst part for me waiting for the op the rest is easy compared to that xxxx

You’ll probably be having it done as i’m arriving @sandra eeekkkk. Its so exciting. I was the same @hayley but now ive got a little used to it. I just ask lots of questions now, i find it good to ask other girls that have already been through it. Although i do find myself looking a boobs everyday now hahaha. xx

my admission time is at 12 also on wed 13th anyone know roughly how long you wait before you go down for surgery my stomachs in knots lol not liking the no makeup, eyelashes etc haha x

Not sure how long you wait but i know some girls have said they only waited an hour then got took down :-0 I know the feeling i got a call of the nurse today making sure i was ok and had everything i needed. I cant wait. Im dreading not wearing any make up and i have to get the train there too 🙁 good luck for your op hun @kimberley x

Yes I feel like all I have done for the past week or so is look at boobs too ha ha how do I start up my own conversation on here it’s confusing x

Thanks I feel like there’s loads I don’t know like what you can and can’t do before and after operation and what bras you need etc it’s all very confusing but I’m hoping at my pre op on Thursday they will tell me a bit more x
