Anyone had their date cancelled? Mine was 26th July at manchester

Had a phone call off Birmingham clinic yesterday to say that they’ve got to cancel my surgery date on July 26th at Manchester clinic. No actual explanations as to why. Ive been offered 2 dates in London- VERY tricky to get too and one in Manchester a week later. I rang them today and asked for the Manchester date and they’ve now said they will have to check too confirm 🙁
Anyone else had problems like these. Its really putting me off my surgery, its taken me 2 years to build up the courage to do this and its slowly nocking my confidence back down.
Any advice would be muchly appreciated 🙁 x

My op was meant to be the 24th of this month and they rang me 2 days before saying they had to postpone it because the anaesthetist couldn’t make it! It has only been postponed until this saturday but it was still annoying as i was prepared and ready for the wednesday! This is at fitzroy though. Have they offered you any refund from the deposit because of this? I’m sure you will get the date sorted hun 🙂 xx

I had my op on the 31st may which was meant to be at manchester bridgewater and 2 days before they rang me and said I would have to get it done in London they do pay for your transport and hotel for who ever is coming with you. Just make sure your on there case Hun for details xx

Mine got changed from manchester to London… Same day though. Mya have paid for train tickets for me and chaperone and also 2 nights in a hotel for me and chaperone… I’d defo speak to them about that?? Good luck! Xx

Thanks for you replies girls! I’m booked in for the following Sunday now still in Manchester but a week later 🙁
It’s annoyed me but at heats I can still get it done!
They offered me money off for London but nothing for Manchester xxx
