Applying for MYA finance

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to know what happens with MYA finance I will be using this option to fund my BA and lipo. What do you have to do for it and what sort of stuff is asked of you?

Hello! you just need to put your details in, your bank details, your job, your address, age, etc.
i didn’t get accepted unfortunately which totally threw me off as i was relying on it! think it’s because i went to uni and still have those debts which is annoying as i don’t earn enough to start having to pay those off yet. got finance through hitachi though which is just another loan company. once you get your link to apply you can see if you get accepted through mya xx

I went to uni and I’ve only just started a new job (as of October) applied for a credit card to boost my credit score but just very worried I might be rejected. I’ve never had a credit score but I am on a very good wage so I am hoping that that will go in my favour.

My parents have a good credit score and have agreed to apply on my behalf but I earn more than them would that matter?

I’m opting for the pay half the full price as he deposit and then pay the rest off in 10 months. This finance is now the only thing I need to get checked off my list before I get what I want in April!

you will more than likely get accepted with all that info lovely, my PC said almost everyone gets accepted on the 10 months interest free rate.
if not theres other loans companies! and always your parents good luck xx

I have uni loans and in the process of paying off a credit card and I got accepted for 75% of the amount I needed for my rhino…the rest I had to pay myself. Thats over 3 years though like Lucy said I think its a lot easier to be accepted for the 10 month option 🙂 xx

My thread didn’t fully post! Basically I’m paying half by January hopefully I got a lot to put back in my paycheque for December and January but already got most of it so hopefully I’ll be accepted!

I’ll be applying for it end of February/ beginning of March and my operation is 28th of April I just feel like that is so close together so I am all worried about it I don’t want it to go wrong so close to the time. I’ve never had to do anything like this before so it’s all unknown to me. I’ve applied for a credit card and will start using that as soon as I can so I can actually get a credit rating.

Will they take my uni loans into account? I’ve literally just started paying it off £58 in November….long way to go til that is cleared lol

Uni loans are with you for years anyway and you don’t even notice it coming out of your account I think you should be fine! Especially if your paying for half of it and are in a job earning I don’t see why not! Exactly what I’m doing anyway it’s all new to me too dw maybe speak to your patient coordinator to help work out your finances 🙂 xx

You know when you apply for mya finance say if you gt accepted do they email you or do you get sent a letter? Because it says on there everything through the post which has confused me also I don’t want it coming through my door! Anyone had this done? Xx

I was accepted and it told me instantly on the screen. They then emailed me the details. A couple of days before the procedure they email you again asking you to log in and check the details, and to electronically ‘sign’. They also notified me of the payment schedule via email. So, I doubt you’ll receive anything through the post as I haven’t received anything.

If you have a proper student loan from student finance (I have one too) it doesn’t affect your credit score I was told by them. X

Hi, you know when your applying and you put in all your card details etc.. you don’t pay anything do you? I’m scared about filling it in if it’s going to ask for a deposit then and there xxx

Hi, can anyone help? My stepmum has applied for finance today. She was conditionally accepted but hasn’t heard anything yet. Has anyone had this or know how long it takes to find out? Do they email or ring and will they tell you if declined? X

Hi does anyone know. If i paid half my deposit for a op and apply for the rest on finance. When booking a date do i have to pay the full half?. I want to secure an appointment with a deposit which i heard will be 500-1000. Then pay the rest of the half nearer to my booking date can you do this?
