    Hi Ladies,

I’m full of questions at the moment ! I went to meet Dr Schiavone today for my first ever surgeon consultation … you were right, he is lovely and I didn’t need to worry !

… More questions … who has had a BA for asymmetrical breasts ? Are you happy with your results or are they still asymmetrical, I know everyone is different but would like your help if you had a similar issue 🙂

He also mentioned maybe having my nipple reduced on the ‘larger one’ so they were the same size but I’m really not sure I want more scars etc has any one had that done and BA ? He would also need to do something with the other nipple to make them both look the same – would look silly with scars on one and not the other :/ I don’t really mind that the nipple is different, it’s the actual asymmetry that really bugs me 🙁

I just want to be more symmetrical so that wearing a bra is actually comfy and I’d like them both bigger :/ I think he said he wants to put in one moderate profile implant and one high profile implant and again different sizes, I think they are approx 100cc difference in implant size :/ I was just hoping I’d have the same profile but a bigger cc implant in the ‘smaller one’ and a smaller cc implant in the ‘larger breast’.

Any one else had a similar procedure to mine and are you happy ? So worried that as they implants are so different in size (that’s fine) but profile too that I may hate them more after if they’re still different, I know they won’t be perfect, I can’t expect a miracle. Dr Schiavone knows his job and is very professional so I am happy that he has seen me and that he considered every option carefully 🙂 but I would love to hear your stories if you have / had a similar issue 🙂 x

Hey hun, I had asymmetrical tubular breasts to begin with at a c & d cup, so I had one 365cc with a nipple lift and aeriola reduction & one 325cc with a full anchor lift and aeriola reduction both high profile though, you can add me to see my results if you would like, I am very very happy with my results as they’re completelyyyy different to before however one of my nipples has misshapen :/ so will just speak to my surgeon when I see him next month 🙂 all I could suggest if you’re having doubts though hun is maybe see another surgeon for a 2nd opinion? It’s definately worth it for this massive decision xx

Just for you to consider… instead of having different sized implants in having a reduction one side to match the other, I have one two cup sizes bigger than the other. I’m also having a nipple lift during which time he is also resizing my nipples as similar to you, mine are different sizes. If you didn’t want more scaring maybe have the smaller one tattoo’ed on to make it the same size as your larger one. I considered this before I found out I needed an uplift!:) hope this helps! Xxx

Hi hun, I’m 9 days post op, I had one boob at a B/C and one at a saggy DD/E, had a full anchor lift on the big one, nipple lift on the small one, and then 190cc and 380cc implants and even though I’m only 9 days post I’m over the moon, it’s the best decision I ever made! Feel free to add me cos I will put some pics up soon! Have you asked him specifically why he’d put different profiles in? You could always try seeing another surgeon, if you’re with a company like mya it should be free and u should be able to see as many surgeons as you like, always a good idea with asymmetry as each surgeon does things differently! But if you’re happy with what he’s said then that’s good! Xx

Thanks Girls … felt a bit over-whelmed by it all ealier :/ I’m going to try and see my PC this week and go through it all with her again. Think I’ll see a few surgeons too 🙂 Did you all use MYA ? I didn’t ask why he wanted to use different profiles Amber :/ I think it’s just as one is a better shape and better profile already so if he put the same in maybe it would still sit higher than the other :/ I didn’t know what to expect in terms of his opinion so I didn’t know what to ask, got a few more questions now I’ve thought about it more ! I’m glad your happy with your results 🙂 gives me a bit more positive thinking, earlier I was worried that it was all too complex and that there was a big risk I’d dislike them more than I do now … It really is a big thing isn’t it ! I was quite happy thinking it would be straight forward, wishful thinking 😉 x

I am not using MYA no, however their are countless women on here with amazing results from MYA’s surgeons. Definitely see a few surgeons with being asymmetrical as ducky said each surgeon will do a different thing to solve it. Don’t worry I found it all very overwhelming after my first consultation I came out in tears, not upset simply realising that it was all ok and could be fixed !:)
So hang on in there babe, keep doing your research, speak to lots of ladies on here and you’ll feel alot happier. Best of luck xxx

Ducky yours are absolutely fab girl!
I found researching made me understand more about he operation itself like cc sizes, under or overs, styles of implant along with projection, finding out about capsular contraction and rippling ( things you must understand but not worry about) lots of things and I learnt most of it through this website alone. It’s filled with lots of awesome ladies hay are full of knowledge and experience its great.
I’m with ducky, pro and cons lists really help your narrow it down in black and white in front of you I’ve done tis after my consultation to weigh up my options xxx

Wow Ladies thank you 🙂 I feel so much better now I’ve read all your stories 🙂 … What I’m finding hard to get around is that they need such different sizes / profiles but I knew they would need it, just harder hearing it and then actually putting all my trust in who is effectively a complete stranger haha ! I am also going to have to save more now as it is more complex than I thought so I’m going to have to wait longer 🙁 … gutted about that too. I am on the job hunt today as I’m making the decision to possibly completely change career as my small business although I love it doesn’t make me enough money to save 🙁 I want this op done asap, not when I’m 90 😉 Lived with it for long enough now. I’m going to email my PC and ask for a scan with what Dr Schiavone wrote down so I can process it all and then I can tell you exactly what he said ! I got so overwhelmed I don’t even remember what size implants he said ! I know they are approx 100cc different. I’ll try and put a photo up later for those that have added me so you can see for yourselves 🙂 x
