I would say a week. I did 7 days for both my ba and I really struggled … Even typed / moving around sitting hurts… I would give yourself at least a week to 10 days if you can….

I am 1 week post op today and would definitely not be ready to go back to work.
I feel I’m getting better every day but still aching and sore.
    Everybody heals differently though.
However the nurse was shocked with how quickly my incisions have healed and I’ve been told I can shower tomorrow!
But in myself I just don’t feel ready to face the world of work yet!
    I’m shattered!
    Best of luck 🙂

    Hiya hun,
I am 7 days post op tomorrow and came back to work yesterday, I would definitely say this was too soon.
I work in an office so not any lifting but walked around a bit and I think this caused my boobs to swell up, woke up today and can barely move, I would definitely say leave it at least a week hun.
Good Luck with your BA Hun xx

I’m having my breast reduction next week and am having 2 weeks off work. I work in retail and I know it’ll be difficult when I go back.

I have this issue too, I have holidays to use up at work for the rest of this year, I only work Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at the moment but where my BA falls I have a wedding the weekend prior so ideally for recovery I’d need three weekends off work I’m worried work won’t allow this. I only work in a supermarket and can choose to stay on checkout all shift if I can which is sit down work. If I cannot book the weekend after off I will be a week post-op do you think this would be doable?
