Bad Credit Rating – MYA Finance

Hi suzy Im in the same position as you the 400 is the deposit to book your op. have you had a consultation yet?

Ive had my consultation on 22nd jan, if you have 2500 to put down then mya will do a personal finance over 12 months for the rest with no credit checks etc. This is what i am doing. I was quoted 3750 for overnights stay at highgate so paying 2500 down payment and financing 1250 over 12 months roughly 100 a month. When you book your date for BA they require a 500 deposit (this is what my PC told me cuz i thought it was 400 but she said 500 anyway..) and this secures your date etc so i will have 2000 to pay on surgery day!
If you dont have 2500 to put down then mya use a finance company called First Medical Loansn which are apparently strict with criteria and do credit check and have strict terms and cons etc so defiantely think of mya’s personal finance (just to add that i had to mention/ask this myself to my PC as she never mentioned this i had read lots on these forums about it) lol. Who are your personal co-ordinators? xx

I have my first consultation booked for this Friday, i’m really excited but they haven’t sent the details through yet so not sure who my PC is?…..

I’ve heard really good things about Dr Singh but the lady i spoke to on the phone said they he mainly specialises in bigger boobs….i’m really not sure how big i want them yet. My friend had hers done and was an 32A, she went to a 32DD but they don’t look huge on her or anything, i always thought DD would be HUGE?….

Hiya, you dont have to give your deposit until your surgery is booked. the deposit basicly secures your surgery date. I had my 2nd consultation with the surgeon and then payed my deposit a week later when i transferred my funds! My surgery is booked for April. i think you can book as far in advance as long as they’v got the dates available!
I think you can take pics, i didnt. But everybodys boobs are diff so i dont think they can say for definate how your boobs wil turn out. they show you before and after pics of other people though! when i went to see the surgeon, i told him what i wanted and then he told me what would be best for my body etc!!

Oh right, brilliant so i can go for my consultations and then call and book the surgery in Feb when i have the deposit? Book it for the end of March and pay the rest on the day of surgery, thats really good, theres no way i could get the whole amount upfront that quickly otherwise!

Is 2500 the amount you HAVE to pay to get the rest on finance without the credit checks? I’ve read that some girls have been quoted only

Im really body consious even though only a size 10 and i have my first consultation on the 8th Feb…. i know this sounds silly but the thought of taking my top off and showing a surgeon my boobs is totally putting me off the whole thing!!! xx

they barely look at your boobs steph,m just stick a tape measure on you, put you in a sports bra with different implants and that is it. remeber yours are probable 10 times nicer than others he has seen! plus your a size 10! just think how goos u will look after x

SuzyP Yes you can go to your 2nd consultation and not pay anything, as soon as your ready to book just ring your personal co-ordinator who you will meet at your consultation and tell her your ready to book and thats when they will require the 500 deposit to secure the surgery date. Then when you go for your BA you pay the 2000 so then you have paid 2500! then the rest on finance through mya (there personal finance) with no credit checks!

stephxxx dont worry about taking off your top these surgeons do not make you feel uncomfortable at all and they understand your embarrassed as you want a BA so obviously unhappy. Mya staff are fantastic you really have nothing to worry about all they do is take quick measurment and your tops back on in no time you will be fine hun, soon as you have been you will be like “what was i worried for” i felt the same as you before mine but now glad i went. I think everybody gets quoted different prices depending on whether there a day case and also if they have any discount vouchers!
It is hard to get that money together if you havent got it or if you have to rely on finance. I dont think Mya do any credit checks, im not sure though cuz im paying for mine myself!

if you want to make sure that your credit rating improves before applying for loans etc you may want to consider using a prepaid master card from CashPlus for a while

(see http://www.mycashplus.co.uk). Mind you, it will take about a year before your rating will start to improve but it’s the best deal out there at the moment for those with a bad credit rating. The good thing is that you won’t incur any debt with this method.
