Bandage

Hi!

I have finally got my opp today i must say i am not too bad…back in hotel…i dod some walking to get food too however i got sent home with this on ?…will attach in a mo and no strapping…its not a bandage but its a actuall tape…i cant put my sports bra on top in size i am cuz its too small so going over to Asda to get bigger size…i am still puzzled with this tape…what do i do wear it for over a week intill i see my nurse or shud of this come off be replaced with strapping n sport bra? I just dnt know, anyone else with similair..thank you in advance xx

Hey Hun! I’m guessing you keep it on until you see the nurse.

I have strapping but it’s lots, covering my whole breast, so I haven’t even seen them yet.
Some people just have 1 band. Depending if you have overs, partial, unders or the surgeon you see.

But normally you would keep it on for at least one week.

I have the tape too! It is awful my bra didn’t fit over either I have to buy another one before Monday! It’s getting so itchy now and pretty painful where it’s pinching my skin on the left side now I just can’t wait to get it removed!xx

This has put my mind at rest…i was thinking my nurse on the day of the operation did not have a clue ? i ve gone home with no sports bra as the one i had wudnt fit however got myself different one in the same size also from Asda n its fine…How you doing Nestereen?, and Chloe when are u removing yours?

Yes I have the tape, I’m shocked it actually hold for so long lol today in getting it removed ?? honestly you wait until it’s day number 6 it’s a nightmare all sticky stuff on my back and the pressure just gets worse, when she takes it off I know I’m going to have a shock. X

I am so not looking forward to day 6 lol ?…i can imagine it…like a free vaxing litturally…in the way its good cuz i can apply Peas Pack straight on to it-yes thats what i call my ice packs…just easier n i can re freeze it rather than having water leaks from the bag…fingers crossed for us All ? xx

I have the tape on and also my macom po bra too, i think i actually prefer it to the full strapping, as can still have a little glance at my boobs in the mirror, lol. Its uncomfortable bt does its job until next appt with the pco. Goodluck girls x
